<p>We are currently seeking a <strong>full‑time Adolescent Counselor</strong> to join our dedicated outpatient clinical team. If you are passionate about helping children overcome substance use and mental health challenges, we encourage you to apply.</p>

<h2><strong>Position Overview</strong></h2>
<p>The <strong>Outpatient Adolescent Counselor</strong> plays a vital role in delivering <strong>individual therapy, group therapy, process groups, and family counseling</strong>. This position supports daily clinical operations, client intake, documentation, and treatment planning to ensure the highest quality of care.</p>
<div>This position requires regular local travel to partner schools during working hours. Candidates must be able to travel independently between sites.</div>

<h2><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></h2>
<ul>
<li>
<div data-olk-copy-source="MessageBody">Facilitate individual counseling, group therapy, and family therapy in an outpatient setting</div>
</li>
<li>
<div><strong>Collaborate with schools in the area to provide prevention, education and therapy to students and staff</strong></div>
</li>
<li>
<div>Conduct client l<strong>evel of care assessments</strong> and assist with individualized treatment plan development </div>
</li>
<li>
<div>Support daily clinical <strong>operations as a team player</strong></div>
</li>
<li>
<div>Maintain an assigned caseload with timely, accurate clinical documentation</div>
</li>
<li>
<div>Attend<strong> staff meetings, clinical supervision, and required company meetings</strong></div>
</li>
<li>
<div>Assist<strong> leadership with </strong>program coverage and service coordination</div>
</li>
<li>
<div>Maintain compliant and organized <strong>client files and documentation that upholds state standards</strong></div>
</li>
<li>
<div>Provide<strong> crisis intervention as needed while maintaining a safe, structured, therapeutic environment</strong></div>
</li>
<li>
<div>Actively listen and support clients throughout all stages of treatment and recovery</div>
</li>
<li>
<div>Complete required trainings and maintain mandatory continuing education hours</div>
</li>
<li>
<div>Perform additional duties as assigned by leadership </div>
</li>

<h3>Education & Experience Requirements</h3>
<p>Applicants must meet one of the following:</p>
<ul>
<li><strong>Master’s degree</strong> in psychology, counseling, social work, or a related behavioral health field<br><strong>OR</strong></li>
<li><strong>Bachelor’s degree</strong> in psychology, counseling, social work, or a related behavioral health field<br><strong>OR</strong></li>
<li><strong>Current CADC or CAADC certification</strong></li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li>This role provides an opportunity to gain supervised clinical experience and grow within the organization.</li>

<h2><strong>Preferred Skills & Qualifications</strong></h2>
<ul>
<li>Experience in <strong>mental health, substance use disorder, or co‑occurring disorder treatment</strong></li>
<li>Knowledge of <strong>ethical, professional clinical practices</strong></li>
<li>Knowledge of <strong>HIPAA</strong>, state licensing regulations, and <strong>CARF standards</strong></li>
<li>Ability to manage crises calmly and effectively</li>
<li>Ability to work in a <strong>fast‑paced, team‑oriented clinical environment</strong></li>
<li>Possession of strong critical‑thinking and problem‑solving skills</li>
<li>Possession of excellent <strong>written and verbal communication skills</strong></li>
</ul>
