About the role
<p>Liquid Personnel are currently working exclusively alongside our esteemed client in the East Midlands to recruit for an Advanced Practitioner to join their Child Protection and Permanency team. This is a perfect opportunity for someone wanting to progress in their career, looking for a new opportunity to utilise their skillset in order to support the development of a team and service.</p>
<p><strong>Duties of a Child protection and permanence Advanced Practitioner:</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>To work as part of the team delivering services to Children In Need/In Need of Protection as part of an integrated service delivering high quality services with families and carers.</li>
<li>To mentor and supervise other social workers and social work assistants.</li>
<li>To lean on and role model exceptional social work values and practice, supporting the development of others within the service.</li>
<li>To be responsible for and hold a number of complex cases and ensure children are safeguarded as well as promoting and role modelling good social work practice. </li>
</ul>

<p><strong>Key requirements for the role</strong><br>To apply for the post, you must meet the following requirements:</p>
<ul>
<li>Current SWE registration and valid right to work in the UK</li>
<li>Have completed your ASYE and significant post qualified experience in Child Protection and Care Planning</li>
<li>UK driving licence</li>
<li>Knowledge of Child-care legislation</li>
<li>Skilled in the management of risk and assessment of children's needs</li>
<li>Great communication skills, able to explain complicated information simply</li>
<li>Knowledge of the issues that affect parenting capacity and the impact of deprivation on child development</li>
<li>Experience of Signs of Safety methodology</li>
