The right person ships fast, thinks analytically, and is genuinely excited about using AI to change how an operations team works.</p> <p>&lt;/text&gt;<br>&lt;/gh-role-detail&gt;<br><br></p> <p>&lt;gh-responsibilities&gt;</p> <p>&lt;title&gt;<strong>Main tasks and responsibilities:</strong>&lt;/title&gt;</p> <p>&lt;bulletpoints&gt;</p> <ul> <li>&lt;point&gt;<strong>Build and ship automations at scale.</strong> Design, build, and maintain production-grade automation workflows using tools like Make, n8n, or similar — covering courier onboarding, compliance, performance monitoring, and reporting pipelines across all 16+ markets. Convert high-volume manual work into scalable, repeatable systems.&lt;/point&gt;</li> <li>&lt;point&gt;<strong>Use AI tooling to accelerate and deepen analysis.</strong> Apply LLM-based tools and structured frameworks to operational questions that are too complex for manual approaches — bad order classification, multi-market variance analysis and insight extraction from unstructured data. You won't just build the pipe; you'll generate the insight.&lt;/point&gt;</li> <li>&lt;point&gt;<strong>Define the AI &amp; automation roadmap. </strong>You'll set the direction for how Central Ops adopts AI and automation, what we build, what we buy, what we train on and what we deprecate. This function doesn't exist today; you'll shape it. It involves auditing existing workflows, quantifying where manual effort is highest, and maintaining a structured pipeline of opportunities ranked by hours saved and business impact. Track realised savings and continuously identify new opportunities.&lt;/point&gt;</li> <li>&lt;point&gt;<strong>Automate operational reporting.</strong> Replace manual data pulls with automated pipelines — weekly market performance packs, daily KPI scorecards with threshold-based alerting, and cross-market variance reports that surface outliers before leadership reviews.&lt;/point&gt;</li> <li>&lt;point&gt;<strong>Build compliance and quality systems.</strong> Design rules-based automation for courier compliance (document expiry, automated reminders, threshold-based blocking) and performance management (rolling score engines, structured warning and suspension pipelines).&lt;/point&gt;</li> <li>&lt;point&gt;<strong>Enable the team.</strong> Document all workflows clearly, deliver regular AI tooling training for central and local teams, and build with sustainability in mind. Your automations need to work when you're not watching them.&lt;/point&gt;</li> </ul> <p>&lt;/bulletpoints&gt;<br>&lt;/gh-responsibilities&gt;</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>&lt;gh-requirements&gt;</p> <p>&lt;title&gt;<strong>About you:</strong>&lt;/title&gt;</p> <p>&lt;bulletpoints&gt;</p> <ul> <li>&lt;point&gt;You have <strong>3–4+ years of experience</strong> in operations, BizOps, automation, or analytics where you were hands-on building workflows AND running analysis, ideally in a marketplace, logistics, or tech-forward environment.&lt;/point&gt;</li> <li>&lt;point&gt;You have <strong>deep, hands-on experience with automation platforms</strong> such as n8n, Make, or Zapier. You've built and maintained complex, multi-step workflows in production, not just prototypes.&lt;/point&gt;</li> <li>&lt;point&gt;You have <strong>strong working knowledge of AI and LLM tooling,</strong> with real examples of operational deployment: classification, extraction, summarisation, or anomaly detection. You understand what these tools are good at and where they break.&lt;/point&gt;</li> <li>&lt;point&gt;You have <strong>strong SQL skills</strong> and analytical instincts, are comfortable sizing problems, measuring impact, and generating insights from large datasets. You don't just automate; you think about what the data is telling you.&lt;/point&gt;</li> <li>&lt;point&gt;You have a <strong>builder's mindset.</strong> You default to shipping and iterating rather than waiting for perfect specs, and you're energised by turning messy manual processes into clean systems.&lt;/point&gt;</li> <li>&lt;point&gt;You have <strong>strong communication skills</strong> — able to explain technical solutions to non-technical stakeholders, write clear documentation, and train others across teams and time zones. Fluent in English.&lt;/point&gt;</li> <li>&lt;point&gt;You <strong>enjoy bringing others along.</strong> You can sit with a teammate who's never used an AI tool before and leave them genuinely capable of using one, and you see this as core to the job, not a nice-to-have..&lt;/point&gt;</li> </ul> <p>&lt;/bulletpoints&gt;<br>&lt;text&gt;</p> <p>Experience is great, but what we really look for is drive, intelligence, and integrity.
