The expectation is for the Intern to play an active role in supporting the AI &amp; Data team on various projects and initiatives aimed at leveraging data-driven insights to drive business growth and innovation.The role will provide a learning opportunity for the intern and valuable support to the organization.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Key accountabilities</strong></p> <ul> <li>Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze data from multiple sources.</li> <li>Assist in the development and implementation of machine learning models and algorithms.</li> <li>Conduct exploratory data analysis to uncover trends, patterns, and insights.</li> <li>Support data cleaning, preprocessing, and transformation tasks.</li> <li>Assist in designing and conducting experiments to test hypotheses and validate models.</li> <li>Help build data pipelines and infrastructure to support data-driven decision-making.</li> <li>Contribute to the development of data visualization dashboards and reports.</li> <li>Stay current with the latest advancements in data science, machine learning, and artificial intelligence technologies.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Professional skills</strong></p> <ul> <li>Currently pursuing a Diploma, Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science or a related field.</li> <li>Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and statistical concepts.</li> <li>Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, or Java.</li> <li>Exposure to agentic AI concepts such as multi-agent systems, tool-use, RAG pipelines, or autonomous task execution is highly desirable.</li> <li>Completed at least one hands-on AI development and deployment end-to-end.</li> <li>Exposure to one or more cloud services: AWS, Azure or GCP.</li> <li>Candidates should demonstrate strength in either AI Engineering, ML Engineering or Data Engineering.</li> <li>Basic knowledge of machine learning algorithms and techniques.</li> <li>Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.</li> <li>Strong communication and teamwork skills.</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Personality and Interpersonal Skills</strong></p> <ul> <li>Ability to handle intensive workloads in a fast-paced setting</li> <li>An effective team player, dedicated to contributing towards the outcome desired by the team</li> <li>Deeply curious about design and its impact on technology and business, highly motivated to have an impact on clients, and interested in a variety of client issues</li> </ul> <p><strong>Qualifications</strong></p> <ul> <li>Pursuing a diploma, undergraduate or graduate degree</li> <li>All-round achiever and outstanding academic record</li> <li>Demonstrated leadership in extracurricular activities</li> <li>Experience in project work</li> <li>Fluent in English and preferably in another regional language<br><br><br></li> </ul><div class="content-conclusion"><p>&nbsp;</p> <p><em>Temus is an equal opportunities employer.
