Procuramos um(a) profissional com sólida experiência em contabilidade, compliance, fechamento financeiro e planejamento financeiro para apoiar as operações LATAM (Brasil e México).

Esta posição atua em parceria direta com a equipe global de Finanças em Nova York e requer inglês fluente.

Trata-se de uma posição sem gestão direta de equipe, com forte exposição internacional e atuação regional.



Position Overview 

This role is crucial in ensuring the smooth operation of the regional offices, providing accounting & administrative support to our team, facilitating effective communication across different functions within the company, while serving as a key liaison between the LATAM offices and the Company’s headquarters in New York  

In addition to core accounting responsibilities, this position supports global functions or teams outside the APAC region, budgeting, financial reporting, and office administration. The Accounting Business Partner LATAM plays a critical role in maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring regulatory compliance, and continuously improving regional and global processes. 

The ideal candidate will be a highly organized, detail-oriented professional with exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. 

This is a full-time position located in Sao Paulo, Brazil. We offer flexible workplace policies. 



Key Responsibilities 



General Accounting & Compliance (75%)


Regional Ownership

  • Oversee accounting operations for LATAM entities in Brazil and Mexico, ensuring accurate financial reporting, compliance, and adherence to company policies.
  • Manage LATAM Accounts Payable processes, including invoice processing, approvals, and vendor relationships.
  • Act as the primary liaison between regional vendors and headquarters in New York.
  • Reconcile bank accounts and corporate credit cards.
  • Support payroll, taxes, and employee benefits administration with global and local providers.
  • Monitor expenses and identify cost-saving opportunities.
  • Manage relationships with external accountants and service providers.
  • Serve as the regional expert on accounting, tax, and regulatory matters.
  • Coordinate audits and maintain financial records using NetSuite and other systems.

Global Finance Partnership

  • Support global accounting activities, including invoice processing, intercompany transactions, and expense reporting.
  • Assist with month-end close activities, reconciliations, and balance sheet reviews.
  • Partner with Finance and cross-functional teams on projects, process improvements, and system enhancements.
  • Support global tax compliance initiatives and regulatory filings.



Financial Reporting & Budget Management (15%)

  • Lead budgeting and forecasting processes for LATAM operations.
  • Monitor performance against budget and prepare management reports.
  • Analyze financial results, risks, opportunities, and key variances.
  • Partner with business leaders on financial planning and strategic initiatives.
  • Drive financial discipline and cost-control initiatives across the region.


Office Administration & Operational Support (10%)

  • Manage office operations, facilities, supplies, and vendor relationships.
  • Coordinate maintenance, visitor management, and office security.
  • Support insurance renewals, lease renewals, and office projects.
  • Ensure compliance with local legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with HR, Finance, IT, and other departments to support business needs.
  • Assist with special projects, employee engagement initiatives, and regional activities.

Key Qualifications & Experience 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. 
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting, finance, and administration, preferably within a global or multinational organization. 
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and regulatory compliance. 
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook. 
  • Must be fluent in Portuguese and English. 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to effectively interact with diverse stakeholders. 
  • Strong organizational and planning skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously. 
  • Demonstrated problem-solving and analytical capabilities. 
  • Ability to work independently while maintaining strong collaboration across teams. 
  • Adaptability and flexibility to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. 
  • Cultural awareness and ability to work effectively across LATAM and global teams. 
  • Ability to demonstrate LHW’s performance drivers (Accountability, Adaptability, Collaboration, Curiosity, and Empathy). 
  • Differentiator if you possess the below: 
  • Experience with NetSuite and Concur. 
  • Spanish speaker. 
  • Tech savvy with extensive skill in power BI, VBA, AI or other new technologyExperience working with multiple countries and jurisdictions within Latin America.
