In this role you'll have the opportunity to collaborate closely with the Global Hotel, Ecommerce, and EMEA Distributor &amp; Travel Retail sales teams, offering valuable financial insights to help them reach their targets as well as build robust forward forecasts and budgets.</p> <p>In addition to partnering with the channel sales teams, you'll work hand-in-hand with marketing to ensure that spending is accurately tracked, forecasts are robust &amp; align with business objectives</p> <p>This role will also be responsible for ad hoc analysis &amp; one off projects including ROI on key investments (marketing and sales),&nbsp; scenario planning and developing/ refining financial models to support strategic initiatives and assist in decision making.</p> <p><strong>What you will do:</strong>&nbsp;</p> <ul> <li> <p>Strong business partnering – build strong relationships with commercial teams and foster an environment of supportive commercial challenge to ensure delivery against agreed targets.&nbsp; Analyse current and past trends in key performance indicators in order to highlight commercial opportunities and risks in particular to revenue, margin and profit</p> </li> <li> <p>Own the preparation of accurate and timely reporting of monthly and YTD financial performance for the B2B, Hotel &amp; Ecommerce channels as well as Marketing including tracking &amp; analysis of costs vs budget &amp; forecast as well as analysis of variances and recommendations as appropriate</p> </li> <li> <p>Proactively, and on demand, prepare value added financial analysis and insights to optimize profitability of the Global Hotel, Global Ecommerce and EMEA Distributor channels (eg new markets financial feasibility, customer profitability analysis for eg across the Wholesale channel, ROI etc....)</p> </li> <li> <p>Support the budgeting and rolling forecasting process for sales (channel within the role's remit) and marketing</p> </li> <li> <p>Support a ‘one team’ approach within EMEA finance, working closely with the shared service teams to identify areas of process improvement and ensure accurate reporting of results, maintaining adherence to accounting standards and compliance requirements</p> </li> </ul> <p><strong>What you will need:</strong>&nbsp;</p> <ul> <li> <p>Degree or equivalent, ideally within a Finance related discipline, advantage to have recognized financial qualification such as CIMA or ACCA (or be working towards one)</p> </li> <li> <p>3+ years experience, ideally within in a Retail and/or FMCG environment</p> </li> <li> <p>Experience of working in a matrix management environment (international/global exposure would be an advantage)</p> </li> <li> <p>Experience of working across functions and various levels of seniority</p> </li> <li> <p>Excellent Communication skills</p> </li> <li> <p>Strong systems skills including Advanced Excel (V look ups, Pivot tables etc...)</p> </li> <li> <p>Experience with SAP and/or Power BI would be a strong advantage</p> </li> <li> <p>Strong presentation skills</p> </li> </ul><div class="content-conclusion"><p></p> <div class="x_elementToProof" data-olk-copy-source="MessageBody">Molton Brown is part of Kao founded in Japan in 1887, at Kao, we believe the diversity of our teams strengthens our global mission.
