About the role
Do you combine deep property underwriting knowledge with strong analytical skills?
Are you motivated by solving complex problems alongside underwriters and senior stakeholders? Then this could be your next step.
We’re looking for a Senior Analyst to join the Underwriting Analytics team within Business Area Industrial, working with some of the largest and most complex corporate clients in the Nordics.
Your impact
In this role, you will play a business-critical part in underwriting decisions, using advanced analytics and insight to improve risk assessment and profitability—primarily within Property, but also across other lines of business.
You’ll act as a trusted partner to underwriters and business leaders, owning complex analyses and helping shape how analytics is embedded in underwriting.
What you’ll do
You will lead and develop property underwriting analytics for large corporate and industrial clients, playing a key role in strengthening analytical capabilities within the business. This includes analysing portfolio performance, identifying profitability drivers, and monitoring trends and emerging risks. You will build and enhance analytical tools and decision-support frameworks, enabling more informed underwriting decisions.
In addition, you will provide a holistic view of client risk profiles and overall portfolio performance, helping to translate complex data into actionable insight. Acting as a senior sparring partner to underwriters and Heads of Line of Business, you will contribute to strategic discussions and decision-making.
Beyond property, you will support cross-line analytics initiatives and collaborate across the organisation. You will also take an active role in coaching and supporting junior analysts, helping to develop their capabilities and raise the overall analytical standard of the team.
Your profile
Strong experience in property underwriting analytics (large corporate/industrial)
Solid understanding of insurance financials, pricing, and profitability
Proven ability to turn complex data into clear, actionable insights
Confident engaging with senior stakeholders
Strong communication skills in English and ideally another Nordic language
Nice to have:
SQL, Python, R, Power BI or similar
Experience with complex/fragmented data
Mentoring experience and curiosity for new analytical approaches
About the team
You’ll join a high-performing, collaborative Nordic team working across Property, Casualty, Cargo, and Employee Benefits. We value ownership, curiosity, and close collaboration—and you’ll have real influence from day one.
What does If offer?
A collaborative and inclusive environment
Strong development opportunities within the leading Nordic insurer
Hybrid working model
