You will collaborate closely with Product Managers, Designers, and Engineers to create scalable, performant, and engaging customer-facing applications. The ideal candidate brings strong product engineering instincts, takes ownership of outcomes, and has a proven track record of shipping high-quality Android applications to production.</p> <h2>Responsibilities</h2> <ul> <li>Collaborate with Product Managers, Designers, and Engineers to define, build, and deliver customer-centric mobile experiences.</li> <li>Drive the end-to-end development lifecycle of Android features, from ideation and technical design through implementation, testing, deployment, and post-launch optimization.</li> <li>Build high-quality, scalable, maintainable, and performant Android applications using Kotlin and modern Android development frameworks.</li> <li>Partner with product and business stakeholders to translate customer needs into elegant technical solutions.</li> <li>Integrate and optimize data interactions using GraphQL and REST APIs.</li> <li>Advocate for exceptional user experiences through attention to performance, usability, accessibility, and reliability.</li> <li>Contribute to architectural decisions, technical roadmaps, and engineering standards for the Android platform.</li> <li>Mentor and support fellow engineers through design discussions, code reviews, and knowledge sharing.</li> <li>Participate in Agile development processes, sprint planning, retrospectives, and continuous improvement initiatives.</li> <li>Contribute to application observability, monitoring, performance optimization, and operational excellence.</li> <li>Participate in an on-call rotation and help improve platform resilience, reliability, and maintainability.</li> </ul> <h2>Required Qualifications</h2> <ul> <li>4-6 years of professional software engineering experience, with a strong focus on Android application development.</li> <li>Expert-level proficiency in Kotlin and modern Android development practices.</li> <li>Proven experience building, shipping, and maintaining consumer-facing Android applications at scale.</li> <li>Strong understanding of product engineering principles, including user experience, performance, reliability, maintainability, and customer-centric development.</li> <li>Experience developing applications using modern Android technologies such as Jetpack Compose, Android Jetpack libraries, and Kotlin Coroutines.</li> <li>Strong experience integrating and consuming GraphQL and RESTful APIs.</li> <li>Experience designing clean, scalable, and testable application architectures such as MVVM, MVI, or similar patterns.</li> <li>Deep understanding of Android platform capabilities, application lifecycle, networking, concurrency, offline-first patterns, and performance optimization.</li> <li>Experience with automated testing frameworks, quality assurance practices, and CI/CD pipelines.</li> <li>Familiarity with mobile observability, analytics, crash reporting, and monitoring tools.</li> <li>Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work effectively in a collaborative, cross-functional environment.</li> <li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills.</li> </ul> <h2>Preferred Qualifications</h2> <ul> <li>Experience building and scaling applications with Jetpack Compose in production environments.</li> <li>Experience with GraphQL client frameworks such as Apollo GraphQL.</li> <li>Experience with mobile analytics, experimentation, A/B testing, and data-driven product development.</li> <li>Experience working in a product-led organization with strong customer-centric development practices.</li> <li>Experience with cloud-native architectures and modern backend integration patterns.</li> <li>Experience mentoring engineers and influencing engineering culture.</li> <li>Familiarity with modern Android release processes, app performance monitoring, and Play Store deployment best practices.</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>Posted On: June 17, 2026</p> <p>At Coforge, we hire professionals based solely on their skills and do not discriminate based on age, disability, religion, gender, sexual orientation, socioeconomic status, or nationality.</p>
