We are seeking an angry, charismatic drake to take a commanding role within our wyrmbound coven — a bold, fiery leader who channels ferocity into decisive action and inspires others through presence, wit and uncompromising resolve. This role blends strategic oversight, frontline leadership and a flair for dramatic persuasion. The successful candidate will shape territory policy, marshal hoards and represent drake interests across mountain and lowland domains while maintaining a culture that prizes honour, strength and cunning creativity.

About the role

You will be the primary catalyst for change among the drake community, setting priorities and ensuring smooth running of day-to-day operations across lairs and patrols. This role demands balancing long-term territorial strategy with immediate tactical responses, brokering disputes, forging uneasy alliances and driving initiatives that enhance lair prosperity and safety. You will work closely with brood lieutenants, scout captains and trade emissaries to deliver outcomes that benefit the whole clutch.

Responsibilities

• Develop and communicate a clear vision and strategy for drake territories, aligning broods and factions around decisive objectives.

• Oversee hoard management and resource distribution, ensuring stores, armaments and lair defences remain battle-ready.

• Lead diplomatic and intimidation efforts with neighbouring creatures and rival clutches to secure advantageous treaties and deterrents.

• Mediate internal disputes with firmness and fairness, maintaining consistent codes of conduct and honour among kin.

• Organise patrols, dominion displays and defensive drills as required to preserve territory and morale.

• Mentor rising leaders within the brood, building succession plans and ensuring a resilient command pipeline.

• Represent the drake domain in councils, confrontations and negotiations, delivering bold, persuasive arguments and measured threats when needed.

Requirements

• Proven leadership experience within a large, diverse pack or brood, with the ability to manage complex social dynamics and temper strong personalities.

• Exceptional communication and negotiation skills, capable of rallying followers and intimidating rivals alike.

• Strong strategic thinking and practical problem-solving; comfortable making swift decisions under pressure and in uncertain conditions.

• Experience managing resources, logistics or fortified lair operations at scale.

• Resilience, controlled ferocity and a dry sense of humour—able to remain composed while projecting strength.

Nice to have

• Background in territorial diplomacy, siegecraft or leading hunting covens.

• Experience coordinating aerial or land-based defensive strategies.

• Knowledge of regional lore, rival species and ancient pacts to strengthen alliances and leverage advantage.
