This role applies advanced expertise to identify and mitigate risks to Critical Program Information, ensuring secure system design and compliance with defense requirements. The engineer collaborates closely with government stakeholders and internal teams to define System Security Engineering solutions, support fielding decisions, and drive program protection outcomes across a complex, multi-site environment. Some travel between Colorado Springs and Huntsville, AL will be required.&nbsp;</div> <p><strong>SUMMARY OF ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Coordinate with Missile Defense Agency (MDA) Anti-Tamper (AT) and program leadership on updates and/or changes to the system</li> <li>Perform Anti-Tamper Risk and Threat Management Assessments and develop reports for the program</li> <li>Develop analysis processes and prepare the Anti-Tamper (AT) plan, including coordination and input for near-term fielding decisions</li> <li>Develop, deliver, and maintain:</li> </ul> <ul> <li> <ul> <li>Anti-Tamper Plan</li> <li>Anti-Tamper Evaluation Plan</li> <li>Key Management Plan</li> <li>Program Protection Plan</li> </ul> </li> <li>Develop, deliver, and maintain Critical Program Information (CPI) analysis, Defense Exportability Assessments, and defense export strategy</li> <li>Develop and maintain waivers for CPI, Anti-Tamper, or defense exportability requirements</li> <li>Assess Anti-Tamper designs and implementation plans to support verification and validation efforts</li> <li>Identify risk-based technical countermeasures for protecting Critical Program Information and critical components</li> <li>Provide recommendations to improve program protection while meeting cost, schedule, and performance objectives</li> <li>Brief Anti-Tamper and Program Protection requirements; prepare white papers and evaluations as required</li> <li>Support program milestone reviews and fielding decisions by ensuring Anti-Tamper and Program Protection products are approved and meet entrance criteria</li> <li>Collaborate with customers to define System Security Engineering (SSE) requirements, solutions, trade studies, costs, implementation details, system impacts, and effectiveness</li> <li>Support planning and estimation activities, task execution, project tracking, reporting, and risk identification and mitigation</li> <li>Keep senior management informed of major accomplishments, issues, and concerns</li> </ul> <p><strong>REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Applies extensive expertise to solve complex problems requiring ingenuity and creativity</li> <li>Ability to work independently with minimal direction; work is reviewed based on long-term outcomes</li> <li>Experience where decisions impact major organizational objectives</li> <li>Ability to function in project leadership roles</li> <li>Experience serving as a primary customer contact on significant technical matters</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <div> <h3>Preferred Qualifications</h3> <ul> <li class="___ccc16d0 fje8fi8 f1ng9h0j f1bwykku f18jd3zf">Demonstrated ability to collaborate across a multi-site, multi-discipline organization</li> <li class="___ccc16d0 fje8fi8 f1ng9h0j f1bwykku f18jd3zf">Ability to analyze high-level needs and refine them into structured, evolving minimum viable product (MVP) solutions</li> <li class="___ccc16d0 fje8fi8 f1ng9h0j f1bwykku f18jd3zf">Strong written and verbal communication skills</li> <li class="___ccc16d0 fje8fi8 f1ng9h0j f1bwykku f18jd3zf">Ability to clearly present technical approaches and findings</li> <li class="___ccc16d0 fje8fi8 f1ng9h0j f1bwykku f18jd3zf">Experience developing and implementing engineering plans within a project</li> <li class="___ccc16d0 fje8fi8 f1ng9h0j f1bwykku f18jd3zf">Proven success working in team environments</li> <li class="___ccc16d0 fje8fi8 f1ng9h0j f1bwykku f18jd3zf">Experience engineering automation pipelines in environments with rapidly changing requirements, novel design challenges, and tight deadlines</li> <li class="___ccc16d0 fje8fi8 f1ng9h0j f1bwykku f18jd3zf">Understanding of Anti-Tamper and exportability concerns and application of secure hardware/software methodologies</li> <li class="___ccc16d0 fje8fi8 f1ng9h0j f1bwykku f18jd3zf">Ability to work independently in a highly dynamic environment</li> <li class="___ccc16d0 fje8fi8 f1ng9h0j f1bwykku f18jd3zf">Self-starter with strong research and documentation skills</li> </ul> </div> <p><strong>EDUCATION:&nbsp;</strong>Bachelors with&nbsp; 7+ or Master with&nbsp; 5+ Years of Experience</p> <p><strong>LOCATION:</strong>&nbsp;Full Time/ On-Site in Colorado Springs, CO</p> <p><strong>CLEARANCE REQUIRMENT:&nbsp;&nbsp;</strong>Secret</p> <p><strong>DOD 8570 REQUIREMENT:&nbsp;</strong>IAT - Level II</p> <p><strong>SALARY RANGE:&nbsp;</strong>$ 120,000 to $145,000<br><br></p> <p><strong>PHYSICAL DEMANDS:</strong></p> <p>The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this position.
