Senior APEX Oracle PL/SQL Developer

Mission 

To design and deliver high-performing Oracle-based applications that power critical business operations. In this role, you will build scalable PL/SQL and APEX solutions, ensuring performance, reliability, and seamless data flow across enterprise systems. 

You will work on mission-critical applications in production, collaborating closely with experienced engineers while continuously expanding your expertise in Oracle technologies, database optimization, and modern development practices.

Major Responsibilities: 

● Contribute across the full software development lifecycle (design → development → testing → deployment) 

● Develop and maintain Oracle PL/SQL and APEX applications 

● Design and optimize database structures and backend data processing
● Troubleshoot application and database issues, ensuring performance and data integrity

● Optimize SQL queries and improve system efficiency 

● Ensure alignment with technical specifications and architectural standards

● Support software releases and versioning processes 

● Evaluate new tools and technologies, contributing to continuous improvement initiatives 

Requirements

Must haves

● 3+ years of experience in software development 

● Strong hands-on experience with Oracle PL/SQL 

● Experience with Oracle APEX (components, interactive grids, dynamic actions, architecture) 

● Solid understanding of relational databases and Oracle SQL 

● Experience writing efficient and modular PL/SQL code (procedures, functions, triggers, packages) 

● Experience with RESTful APIs and integration technologies (ORDS, SOAP, JSON, XML) 

● Familiarity with software development best practices and testing methodologies
● Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field 

Nice additions

● Experience with Oracle Forms 

● Exposure to data warehousing or BI tools (e.g. Oracle BI Publisher) 

● Experience with Oracle Cloud or Autonomous Database features
