Junior Application Developer

<p></p> <p>We are seeking a <strong>Junior Application Developer</strong> for one of our PRIME CONTRACTS that offers exciting&nbsp;opportunities to support essential services and mission critical activities across the enterprise. Our mission supports the Government Corporate Management Services (CMS)&nbsp;by providing full life cycle support services through the sustainment, modernization, and transformation of&nbsp;the enterprise corporate applications. These applications are used across the government enterprise and are&nbsp;critical to the daily functions of thousands of users across acquisition, business, finance, HR, training,&nbsp;recruitment, program management, security, logistics and more. Come join our diverse and growing team&nbsp;with lots of opportunities!</p> <ul> <li>Collaborate within an Agile development team supporting and modernizing multiple business and financial enterprise applications, including a recently modernized Corporate Management Information System (CMIS).</li> <li>Develop new features, enhance existing capabilities, and maintain applications across a modern enterprise technology stack.</li> <li>Support multiple mission-critical enterprise systems with similar architectures and technologies, while contributing to future modernization initiatives.</li> <li>Troubleshoot user-reported issues, resolve defects, and optimize application performance to improve system reliability and user experience.</li> <li>Design and implement proactive monitoring and alerting solutions to identify potential system issues before they impact operations or availability.</li> <li>Develop and maintain applications utilizing technologies such as Python, Django, Docker, AWS, Java, JavaScript, and ReactJS and/or Vue.js.</li> <li>Manage and optimize Docker containers to support efficient application deployment, scalability, and streamlined development workflows.</li> <li>Rapidly diagnose and resolve technical issues spanning application code, infrastructure, integrations, and data environments.</li> <li>Apply best practices for security, data integrity, and compliance to safeguard sensitive business and financial information.</li> <li>Participate in Agile development activities including sprint planning, backlog refinement, stand-ups, demos, and iterative delivery cycles.</li> <li>Adapt quickly to evolving priorities, customer requirements, and modernization efforts within a fast-paced enterprise environment.</li> </ul> <p>Required Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Active TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph required.</li> <li>Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related technical discipline, plus three (3) years of software development or engineering experience.</li> </ul> <p style="padding-left: 40px;">- A master's degree in technical discipline and one (1) year of experience.</p> <p style="padding-left: 40px;">- An additional four (4) years of relevant experience may be substituted in lieu of a degree.</p> <ul> <li>Experience developing and maintaining enterprise applications using Python.</li> <li>Experience working with front-end technologies such as JavaScript, ReactJS, HTML, and CSS.</li> <li>Experience troubleshooting and resolving application, infrastructure, and system integration issues in a production environment.</li> <li>Familiarity with Agile development methodologies, including participation in sprint planning, backlog refinement, and iterative development cycles.</li> <li>Ability and willingness to quickly learn new technologies, tools, and enterprise platforms in support of modernization efforts.</li> <li>Experience developing, updating, and maintaining technical documentation, system documentation and user support materials.</li> <li>Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across technical and non-technical teams.</li> <li>Must be able to work between the core hours of Monday-Friday, 10:00AM-2:00PM. This range reflects the typical pay for the role and is one part of the company's comprehensive compensation package.
