Application Manager für IT Systeme

The Production Technology IT department evaluates and develops software solutions for digitization and the integration of processes and production equipment in order to be able to manufacture developed products in series. The team works with modern development methods and a state-of-the-art technology stack.

Your tasks

• Lead the creation and completion of our digitalization roadmap for Operations at the Berlin plant and in the international network
• Advising senior management on digitization potential along our operational business processes
• Definition, planning and steering of cross-functional digital innovation projects
• Implementation of automation solutions and standards for existing and new manufacturing and measurement equipment (process sensor technology, interfaces to MES & PLM, AOI, cobots)
• Introduction of measurement and testing technology for our active implants (e.g. pacemakers and defibrillators) as part of our product development process
• Disciplinary leadership of employees as well as their selection and motivation

 

Your profile

• Completed university studies in the field of electrical engineering, computer science, automation technology or comparable
• Clear vision on Industry 4.0 and passion for identifying and implementing digitalization solutions
• Many years of professional experience in automation / digitization of manufacturing in the medical technology, automotive or semiconductor industries
• Several years of experience in leadership
• Experience with international collaboration on a technical level
• Knowledge of software development & the application of agile methodology (e.g. Scrum and Kanban)
• Initial experience with MES (Camstar), PLM and artificial intelligence desirable
• Strong analytical thinking and ability to work in a team
• Excellent knowledge of German and English
