About the role

What you will be expected to do

  • Drive sales of Sun King EX grid-tied inverters and roof top solar systems.
  • Build funnel through EPCs, EO (Energy Officers), banks, partners, and direct consumers.
  • Achieve sales targets by successfully mentoring a field sales team of energy officers.
  • Conduct customer meets, demos, and partner activations.
  • Ensure complete documentation, KYC, and subsidy compliance.
  • Oversee installation coordination and payment collections.
  • Monitor customer experience and conduct field audits.
  • Ensure complete adoption of CRM and tech tools to manage the sales process through software tools used in Sun King. 

You might be a strong candidate if you have/are

  • A bachelor's degree in any field, technical background preferred.
  • 2+ years of experience in direct to customer (D2C) sales.
  • Sales experience in solar rooftop (RTS) or microfinance (MFI).
  • Understanding of grid-tied systems, net metering and RTS processes.
  • Good communication and negotiation skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and mobile apps.
  • Language proficiency of English, Odiya and Hindi. 
  • Comfortable with extensive field travel.
  • Must be based out of, or willing to relocate to Balangir, Odisha.
