About the role
What you will be expected to do
- Drive sales of Sun King EX grid-tied inverters and roof top solar systems.
- Build funnel through EPCs, EO (Energy Officers), banks, partners, and direct consumers.
- Achieve sales targets by successfully mentoring a field sales team of energy officers.
- Conduct customer meets, demos, and partner activations.
- Ensure complete documentation, KYC, and subsidy compliance.
- Oversee installation coordination and payment collections.
- Monitor customer experience and conduct field audits.
- Ensure complete adoption of CRM and tech tools to manage the sales process through software tools used in Sun King.
You might be a strong candidate if you have/are
- A bachelor's degree in any field, technical background preferred.
- 2+ years of experience in direct to customer (D2C) sales.
- Sales experience in solar rooftop (RTS) or microfinance (MFI).
- Understanding of grid-tied systems, net metering and RTS processes.
- Good communication and negotiation skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and mobile apps.
- Language proficiency of English, Odiya and Hindi.
- Comfortable with extensive field travel.
- Must be based out of, or willing to relocate to Balangir, Odisha.
