<p><strong>About the Role</strong></p>
<p>As an Area Manager for Food Services (FS) and HoReCa in Medan, you will be responsible for driving sales, building strong customer relationships, and ensuring market growth in the Food Services (Industrial & Operator) and HoReCa sectors. You will implement best practices in FMCG to optimize sales strategies, enhance customer engagement, and strengthen distribution channels.</p>
<p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Present, promote, and sell products/services using solid arguments to existing and prospective customers, especially in Food Services (Industrial & Operator) and HoReCa.</li>
<li>Perform cost-benefit and needs analysis of existing/potential customers to meet their requirements.</li>
<li>Establish, develop, and maintain positive business and customer relationships.</li>
<li>Reach out to customer leads through cold calling and targeted outreach.</li>
<li>Expedite the resolution of customer problems and complaints to maximize satisfaction.</li>
<li>Achieve agreed-upon sales targets and outcomes within schedule.</li>
<li>Coordinate sales efforts with team members and other departments.</li>
<li>Analyze the territory/market’s potential, track sales, and provide status reports.</li>
<li>Supply management with reports on customer needs, market trends, competitive activities, and opportunities for new products/services.</li>
<li>Keep abreast of best practices in FMCG for Food Services and HoReCa, including pricing strategies, trade promotions, and route-to-market optimization.</li>
<li>Continuously improve through feedback and performance analysis.</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Who We’re Looking For</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Proven work experience as a sales representative or area manager in the FMCG industry, specifically in Food Services and HoReCa.</li>
<li>Strong knowledge of MS Office and familiarity with BRM and CRM practices.</li>
<li>Ability to build productive business relationships and manage key accounts.</li>
<li>Highly motivated and target-driven, with a proven track record in sales.</li>
<li>Ability to create and deliver tailored presentations based on audience needs.</li>
<li>Relationship management skills and openness to feedback.</li>
<li>BS/BA degree or equivalent.</li>
</ul>
