What You'll Do
- Translate Brand Vision: Collaborate with the brand marketing team to translate brand guidelines and strategies into impactful visual concepts and designs.
- Manage Design Calendar: Own the creative design calendar, ensuring all milestones are achieved, and all creative design team members execute within timelines and budgets.
- Conceptualize Creative Campaigns: Create and execute creative brand campaigns, marketing materials, and product launches that align with the brand identity and target audience.
- Maintain Visual Standards: Develop and maintain brand visual standards, ensuring consistency and quality across all channels.
- Lead and Inspire the Team: Direct, lead, and inspire a team of graphic designers to foster a collaborative and innovative work environment.
- Create Visual Presentations: Develop storyboards and visual presentations to effectively communicate design concepts.
- Project Management: Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring deadlines are met without compromising on quality.
- Stay Updated on Industry Trends: Keep informed about industry trends, the competitive landscape, and best practices in design and fashion.
- Coordinate with External Vendors: Work closely with photographers, stylists, producers, and other external vendors to coordinate photoshoots and ensure alignment with the creative vision.
- Oversee and Develop Creative Assets: Actively contribute to the creation of design assets while reviewing and providing feedback to the design team to ensure all creative work aligns with brand guidelines and objectives.
- Produce Innovative Work: Create fresh, innovative designs that translate complex ideas into compelling print materials and digital experiences for sophisticated audiences.
- Stakeholder Communication: Work closely with the Chief Brand and Product Strategy Officer, keeping them updated on all project and team-related developments. Present creative executions and designs to stakeholders, incorporating feedback and making revisions as needed.
What You'll Need
- Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Fine Arts, Fashion Design, or a related field.
- Proven experience as an Art Director or in a similar creative role within the fashion industry, preferably with a focus on sleepwear, loungewear, or related apparel.
- Strong portfolio showcasing creative and innovative design solutions, with a keen eye for typography, color, and layout.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and other design software.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team environment.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of print production processes and digital design best practices.
- Experience in e-commerce and digital marketing design is a plus.
- Excellent organizational, time management, capacity planning, and problem-solving skills.
- Detail-oriented team player with a positive, can-do attitude.
- Proactive, resourceful, and practical, with a keen eye for detail.
- Ability to initiate creative ideas and execute them independently.
