You’ll work closely with Product, Design, and Development to define and execute a strong, cohesive visual vision, ensuring our games are visually compelling, performant, and aligned with both creative and business goals.</span></p> <p><span style="font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif;">You bring strong artistic taste, clear communication, and the ability to guide and inspire a team while remaining closely involved in execution. You're also excited about the role AI can play in modern art production, championing its use to push quality, consistency, and efficiency further than traditional pipelines allow.</span></p> <h3><span style="font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif;">Key Responsibilities</span></h3> <ul> <li><span style="font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif;">Define and maintain the overall visual direction and artistic vision for assigned game projects</span></li> <li><span style="font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif;">Collaborate closely with Product and Design to align visual direction with gameplay, player experience, and business goals</span></li> <li><span style="font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif;">Lead concept ideation for new features and products, translating early ideas into visual direction</span></li> <li><span style="font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif;">Lead, mentor, and provide feedback to artists across disciplines (UI/UX, 2D, motion, etc.)</span></li> <li><span style="font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif;">Ensure visual consistency and quality across all in-game content, features, events, and live ops updates</span></li> <li><span style="font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif;">Create or oversee high-quality concept art, mockups, UI flows, and visual prototypes</span></li> <li><span style="font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif;">Guide the development of UI/UX that is clear, intuitive, and optimised for mobile devices</span></li> <li><span style="font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif;">Work with Development to ensure art is performant, scalable, and efficiently implemented</span></li> <li><span style="font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif;">Review and approve assets before integration, ensuring they meet quality and technical standards</span></li> <li><span style="font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif;">Support live ops content creation while maintaining visual freshness and consistency</span></li> <li><span style="font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif;">Spearhead and champion AI use and integration across the art team, actively identifying new opportunities to apply AI in the creative process</span></li> <li><span style="font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif;">Build pipelines and workflows that leverage AI tools to improve quality, consistency, and efficiency across the art team</span></li> <li><span style="font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif;">Train AI models on existing or new assets - The expected base pay range for this Canada based position is $115,000 to $135,000. Base compensation at Clipwire Games is based on a number of factors and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
