Art Director - Osaka

Overall art direction for the project

Specifically:

• Propose and finalize the art style for the project.
• Manage quality across all art disciplines, including animation, modeling, backgrounds, effects, and UI.
• Coordinate with the project manager (PM) to review and adjust schedules.

Requirements

Must-have:

• Experience in art direction for game development projects (console, mobile, or PC).
  Experience covering the entire process from project initiation to completion is highly preferred.
• Proficiency in major tools such as Photoshop and Maya, with the ability to independently complete production tasks.
• 5+ years of experience in the game industry.

Nice-to-have:

• Proven track record as an Art Director, leading multiple titles to release across console and mobile platforms.
• Understanding and interest in SNK IPs.
• Ability to maintain a broad, strategic perspective.
• Basic knowledge of various art disciplines (modeling, animation, backgrounds, effects, UI).
• Leadership experience managing art teams of 30+ members.
• Basic operational knowledge of Unreal Engine and Maya.

Working Hours

9:30 AM – 6:00 PM (7.5 hours of actual work per day)

Holidays & Leave

• Full five-day workweek (Saturday and Sunday off)

• Paid leave: Up to 12 days granted upon joining (number of days varies depending on the month of hire)
