The Role:
- Inspire and Engage: Deliver engaging and differentiated Art lessons across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5, fostering a love of art and developing students' creative skills and critical thinking.
- Curriculum Expertise: Contribute to the planning and delivery of a dynamic and enriching Art curriculum that encompasses a variety of media and techniques.
- Cultivate Talent: Identify and nurture artistic talent, providing guidance and support to students who wish to pursue art at a higher level.
- Pastoral Involvement: Play an active role in the pastoral care of students, supporting their well-being and personal development.
Candidate Profile:
- Qualified Teacher: Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a genuine passion for Art education.
- Subject Expertise: Demonstrate a strong understanding of art history, theory, and practice, with experience in a range of artistic media and techniques.
- Creative Educator: Employ innovative teaching methods to inspire and motivate students of all abilities.
- Collaborative Spirit: Work effectively within a team and contribute to the overall success of the Art department.
