Asset Finance and Leasing Counsel

<h3><strong>Join Our Team as an Attorney at Axiom</strong></h3> <p>We are seeking an <strong data-start="219" data-end="254">Asset Finance &amp; Leasing Counsel</strong> to join our <strong data-start="267" data-end="294">Financial Services team</strong>. In this role, you will provide legal support to clients on a broad range of <strong data-start="372" data-end="444">asset finance, equipment leasing, and secured financing transactions</strong>.</p> <h3><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></h3> <ul> <li data-start="910" data-end="1033">Draft, review, and negotiate <strong data-start="939" data-end="1030">equipment finance agreements, lease agreements, and related asset finance documentation</strong>.</li> <li data-start="1036" data-end="1180">Advise clients on <strong data-start="1054" data-end="1088">equipment financing structures</strong>, including secured lending, leasing arrangements, and asset-based financing transactions.</li> <li data-start="1183" data-end="1350">Support the structuring and documentation of <strong data-start="1228" data-end="1299">commercial equipment finance transactions across various industries</strong>, including industrial and manufacturing sectors.</li> <li data-start="1353" data-end="1491">Provide legal guidance on <strong data-start="1379" data-end="1441">credit risk, collateral structures, and security interests</strong> related to equipment and other financed assets.</li> <li data-start="1494" data-end="1637">Work closely with <strong data-start="1512" data-end="1568">credit, underwriting, operations, and business teams</strong> to support equipment finance programs and transactional execution.</li> <li data-start="1640" data-end="1755">Review and negotiate <strong data-start="1661" data-end="1713">vendor, dealer, and financing program agreements</strong> related to equipment finance platforms.</li> <li data-start="1758" data-end="1866">Advise on <strong data-start="1768" data-end="1812">regulatory and compliance considerations</strong> applicable to asset finance and leasing activities.</li> <li data-start="1869" data-end="2011">Assist with <strong data-start="1881" data-end="1961">portfolio management issues, restructurings, amendments, and workout matters</strong> involving financed equipment and leased assets.</li> </ul> <h3><strong>Qualifications:</strong></h3> <ul> <li data-start="2170" data-end="2268"><strong data-start="2170" data-end="2196">6+ years of experience</strong> in asset finance, equipment leasing, or secured lending transactions.</li> <li data-start="2271" data-end="2400">Demonstrated experience working on <strong data-start="2306" data-end="2342">equipment financing transactions</strong>, including drafting and negotiating related agreements.</li> <li data-start="2403" data-end="2520">Strong knowledge of <strong data-start="2423" data-end="2517">secured financing structures, collateral documentation, and asset-based lending frameworks</strong>.</li> <li data-start="2523" data-end="2625">Experience supporting <strong data-start="2545" data-end="2622">commercial finance transactions involving industrial or capital equipment</strong>.</li> <li data-start="2628" data-end="2721">Ability to work cross-functionally with <strong data-start="2668" data-end="2718">credit, business, and operational stakeholders</strong>.</li> <li data-start="2724" data-end="2807"><strong data-start="2724" data-end="2745">Juris Doctor (JD)</strong> and licensed to practice law in New York.</li> <li data-start="2810" data-end="2872">Strong communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.</li> </ul> <h3><strong>Preferred Skills:</strong></h3> <ul> <li data-start="2902" data-end="3006">Experience advising <strong data-start="2922" data-end="3003">industrial companies, equipment manufacturers, or equipment finance providers</strong>.</li> <li data-start="3009" data-end="3120">Familiarity with <strong data-start="3026" data-end="3117">vendor finance programs, dealer financing arrangements, and equipment leasing platforms</strong>.</li> <li data-start="3123" data-end="3219">Experience supporting <strong data-start="3145" data-end="3216">large equipment portfolios or structured asset finance transactions</strong>.</li> <li data-start="3222" data-end="3326">Background working with <strong data-start="3246" data-end="3325">financial institutions, leasing companies, or captive finance organizations</strong>.</li> </ul> <h3><strong>Compensation:</strong></h3> <p>The estimated total compensation for full-time Axiom attorney roles is $104,500-325,000 per year and for non-attorney roles is $71,250-309,750 per year.<strong>&nbsp;</strong>Compensation decisions are based on various factors, including, but not limited to, experience, skills, certifications, location, and business needs.&nbsp;
