It's a direct 721 Exchange model designed for everyday owners who want access to continued cashflows, liquidity, and diversification without triggering capital gains, disturbing tenants, or dealing with disposition friction. We're growing fast and are looking for smart, entrepreneurial hustlers who want to help build something category-defining.</p> <p>We're backed by top tier investors, including Andreessen Horowitz, Primary Ventures, Renegade Partners, SUSA Ventures, 1Sharpe Ventures, and leaders from Invitation Homes and Opendoor.</p> <p><strong>About the Role</strong></p> <p>We’re hiring a <strong>Senior Asset Management Associate</strong> to help run the engine behind our Fund. You'll hold our third-party property managers to Flock's standards, serve as the primary point of contact for our Separately Managed Account partners, and work shoulder-to-shoulder with our Legal team on asset-level matters. This role is for a top tier operator who wants to drive portfolio performance.</p> <p>Expect occasional travel to our markets (approximately 10%).</p> <p><strong>What You'll Do:</strong></p> <ul> <li><strong>Own PM Oversight: </strong>Directly manage our third-party property management partners, holding them accountable to Flock's standards on leasing, maintenance, and resident experience.</li> <li><strong>Drive Portfolio Returns: </strong>Regularly review property valuations, rental rates, make-ready scopes, and capex costs, and analyze portfolio performance to inform hold/sell recommendations.</li> <li><strong>Deliver the Numbers: </strong>Produce and analyze detailed financial reports for each market, comparing performance against budgets and market indices, and help draft the strategic business plans that follow.</li> <li><strong>Lead Across Teams: </strong>Drive cross-departmental initiatives and represent Asset Management with rigor — internally and externally.</li> <li><strong>Manage SMA Relationships: </strong>Serve as the primary point of contact for third-party Separately Managed Accounts, building the trust that keeps institutional partners growing with us.</li> <li><strong>Partner with Legal: </strong>Be the Asset Management team's embedded partner on asset-level legal matters. You’ll spot risk early, and bring proactive recommendations when issues like rezoning, licensing, or tenant disputes arise.</li> </ul> <p><strong>About You:</strong></p> <ul> <li><strong>4-6 years of asset management experience: </strong>You've managed residential portfolios — single family preferred — at small or large firms, with a laser focus on portfolio performance data and outcomes.</li> <li><strong>Excel and BI fluency: </strong>You're an intermediate-or-better Excel user and comfortable working in BI dashboards. You don't need to build the BI infrastructure, but you know how to read data and tell the story behind it.</li> <li><strong>Sound judgment on legal issues: </strong>You bring a common-sense approach to legal matters, knowing when to escalate.</li> <li><strong>Ownership: </strong>Desire to grow your impact, balancing speed of delivery with judicious prioritization.</li> <li><strong>Grit: </strong>A proactive mindset and the ability to manage multiple tight deadlines without sacrificing attention to detail.</li> <li><strong>Problem Solver: </strong>Ability to think on your feet and find creative solutions across property management teams, institutional partners, and varied markets.</li> <li><strong>Ethical: </strong>Conduct business with the highest level of integrity and professionalism.</li> </ul> <p><em>Even if you don't meet 100% of the qualifications, we recommend applying to the role!</em></p> <p>Location: Denver, CO (preferred), New York, NY, or San Francisco, CA</p> <p>Compensation: $110-155k annual salary, plus equity and benefits (medical/dental/vision insurance, 401k, and unlimited PTO).</p> <p>&nbsp;</p>
