The ADON is a critical member of the health care leadership team responsible for many aspects of the clinical leadership including care planning and meeting with families regarding the care of their loved one.</p> <p>Otterbein is searching for a strong, mission driven nurse leader to join the dedicated and compassionate team committed to enhancing the quality of life and holistic growth of older persons we serve.</p> <p>Apply from your phone! Additionally, we have implemented stronger infection control and testing procedures in all Otterbein locations.</p> </div> </div> </div> <div class="iCIMS_InfoMsg iCIMS_InfoMsg_Job"> <div class="iCIMS_Expandable_Container"> <div class="iCIMS_Expandable_Text"> <p><strong>Responsibilities</strong></p> <ul> <li>Effectively complete the Care Plans</li> <li>Track Physician and Ancillary Visits and Orders</li> <li>Discuss resident observations/concerns with appropriate coordinator</li> <li>Complete wound rounds and work with the physicians to coordinate wound care</li> <li>Provides coaching and direction to staff as needed</li> <li>Complete discharge planning for residents including home services upon discharge</li> <li>Complete the certifications and recertification’s for residents in the skilled nursing unit</li> <li>Participate in the weekly Medicare/Therapy/Resident meetings</li> <li>Act as the therapy liaison</li> <li>Complete the reassessments for residents and hospital visits when appropriate</li> <li>Facilitate the restorative program</li> <li>Participate in the morning stand up meetings</li> <li>Assist in the management of the survey process</li> <li>Assist with doctor rounds</li> <li>Serve as the “on-call” nurse in charge on a rotating basis</li> <li>Perform any other duties as assigned.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Qualifications</strong></p> <ul> <li><strong>Education</strong>: Graduate of approved Registered Nursing program</li> <li><strong>Licensure/Certification:</strong> Valid Ohio Registered Nurse (RN) license</li> <li><strong>Experience:</strong> &nbsp;Minimum of three (3) years’ experience as a nurse in long term care.
