This is a full-time position.</p> <p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p> <ul> <li>Responsibilities include operating electronic total station instrument, transit, Auto level and other surveying instruments.</li> <li>Reads, reviews, and interprets maps, drawings and diagrams.</li> <li>Sets and marks stakes for slopes, grades and other construction purposes.</li> <li>Determines lines, corners, elevations, grades, alignments, angles, positions and distances. Maintains total station and field book. Maintains survey equipment and tools. Performs related field and office engineering work.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Qualifications</strong></p> <p>Required:</p> <ul> <li>Possess 2 years of construction/surveying experience.</li> <li>Strong communication and time management skills. &nbsp;</li> <li>Proficient computer skills, including the ability to navigate and use standard business software and systems.</li> <li>Must have a complete of surveying math.</li> <li>Must be agile/mobile, remain alert, be able to stand or walk for long periods of time, use fingers, hands &amp; arms to reach, handle and manipulate objects, climb up/down ladders, scaffolds, and other objects.</li> <li>Work on uneven surfaces/heights, be able to read/write, and can see &amp; hear well either naturally or with correction.</li> <li>Must be able to lift and carry materials of all shapes and sizes weighing 50-100 lbs., 75% of the time.&nbsp;</li> </ul> <p>Preferred:</p> <ul> <li>Individuals must be able to work in an OSHA compliant safety environment.</li> <li>Must be able to work outside</li> <li>Must be able to work overtime and weekend hours.&nbsp;</li> <li>Punctuality and promptness are required every day.&nbsp;</li> </ul> <p><strong></strong></p><div class="content-conclusion"><p class="font_8 wixui-rich-text__text"><span style="color: rgb(0, 0, 0);"><span class="wixui-rich-text__text">Holder is committed to Equal Opportunity Employment (EOE).</span></span></p> <p class="font_8 wixui-rich-text__text"><span style="color: rgb(0, 0, 0);"><span class="wixGuard wixui-rich-text__text">​</span><span class="wixui-rich-text__text">Substance abuse testing and a background screening is a condition of employment and&nbsp;Holder Construction does not sponsor applicants for immigration status or benefits.</span></span></p></div>
