We are seeking a detail-oriented Chartered Accountant to join our team as Assistant Manager — Finance. This is a hands-on role with a focus on accounting, compliance, and treasury operations.

Assistant Manager — Finance

Location: GIFT City IFSC, Gandhinagar
Employment Type: Full-time

Key Responsibilities

Regulatory Compliance & Statutory Filings

  • Ensure compliance with FEMA and IFSCA regulations

  • Prepare and file GST returns (GSTR-1, 3B, 9, 9C), TDS/TCS, and advance tax payments

  • Manage all direct and indirect tax compliance for customers and vendors

  • Coordinate with statutory and internal auditors for on-time audit completion

Accounting & Financial Reporting

  • Take charge of daily bookkeeping; prepare monthly P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow statements

  • Manage intercompany reconciliations and elimination entries

  • Maintain accounting records per applicable Indian Accounting Standards

  • Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, and escrow accounting

Treasury & Fund Management

  • Administer multi-currency bank accounts and monitor foreign currency exposure

  • Prepare monthly cash-burn reports and short-term forecasts

  • Reconcile monthly escrow for all company products

  • Foster effective bank relationships and manage banking operations

Process & Internal Controls

  • Maintain and update SOPs for all finance processes

  • Operate and maintain ERP/accounting software (e.g., Tally, Zoho Books) with strong access controls

  • Support automation of reconciliations, reporting, and other workflow enhancements

Candidate Must-Haves

  • Chartered Accountant (ICAI) — mandatory; no exceptions

  • 3–4 years of post-qualification experience

  • Practical knowledge of FEMA guidelines

  • Proficiency in Tally ERP, SAP, Zoho Books, or similar software

  • In-depth knowledge of Indian accounting standards, GST, TDS, and corporate law

  • Experience independently managing statutory audits and audit liaisons

  • Advanced Excel/Google Sheets skills for reconciliation and reporting

Nice-to-Have Qualifications

  • Experience in the fintech industry

  • Familiarity with GIFT City IFSC regulatory framework (IFSCA, PSLA, FEMA IFSC notifications)

  • Understanding of SWIFT, NOSTRO/VOSTRO, and cross-border settlements

  • Comfort with AI-powered finance workflow tools
