About the role

ASSISTANT OPERATIONS MANAGER

(Back of House & Operations — Lefties UK)

Who we are

Lefties is a part of the Inditex family of brands, within one of the world’s leading fashion retail groups, with global brands including Zara, Pull&Bear, Massimo Dutti, Bershka, Stradivarius, Oysho, Zara Home and Lefties.

Fashion is what we sell. How we work is what sets us apart: teamwork, respect, curiosity and sustainability, with people at the center of every success. As Lefties expands in the UK, we’re building teams who thrive on pace, purpose and customer-first retail.

The role

As an Assistant Operations Manager, you support the Operations Manager in keeping the store running smoothly behind the scenes. You help drive stock flow, delivery processing, replenishment, online organisation and back-of-house standards — making sure the right product reaches the shopfloor at the right time.

This is a hands-on, fast-paced role in a high-volume environment. You’ll need to be organised, reliable and calm under pressure, supporting the team to meet deadlines while keeping accuracy, safety and standards high.

This role is for you if you…

  • Thrive in fast-paced, high-volume retail environments

  • Are highly organised and strong at managing time, tasks and priorities

  • Stay calm under pressure and help others stay focused

  • Are reliable, resilient and comfortable working to deadlines

  • Understand how strong stock flow supports sales and customer experience

  • Communicate clearly and work well with both stockroom and shopfloor teams

  • Are adaptable, proactive and ready to grow your career within Inditex

What you’ll do

  • Support the Operations Manager with daily back-of-house routines and stockroom organisation

  • Help manage deliveries, ensuring product is processed accurately and efficiently

  • Support hourly replenishment and stock flow to keep the shopfloor commercial and ready for customers

  • Monitor replenishment routines and support actions to improve productivity and availability

  • Assist with online organisation, daily deadlines and package productivity where applicable

  • Maintain clear communication between stockroom, shopfloor and management teams

  • Support, coach and motivate the operations team during busy periods

  • Ensure Health & Safety, security and stock movement procedures are followed consistently

  • Keep back-of-house areas clean, organised and safe

  • Act as an ambassador for Inditex sustainability initiatives

What we offer

Competitive salary, 25% staff discount across all Inditex brands, 28 days holiday allowance, company pension scheme and the “More for Less” benefits platform with a wide range of discounts.

At Inditex, internal talent is our greatest asset. We offer clear progression opportunities, continuous learning through training and e-learning, and the chance to contribute to social and sustainability projects that make a real difference.
