About the role
We are seeking an experienced and bilingual communications professional to join our dynamic team as Assistant Vice President, Group Communication in Hong Kong.
Your new role
- Develop and implement communication strategies for owned platforms for stakeholder engagement in line with the company’s objectives
- Lead and drive internal communications including content strategy for internal platforms, e.g. intranet and internal social platforms
- Draft and edit announcements, speeches, and executive messages in both Chinese and English
- Support external communications, including press releases and media materials
- Lead and coordinate logistics for major corporate events such as annual results announcements and AGMs with the support of junior team members
- Lead the production of corporate publications e.g. annual report, interim report, etc.
- Create compelling social media content for the company and senior executives
- Collaborate with business and function units to develop consistent and effective messaging
To succeed this role
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or related field
- 8+ years of relevant experience, preferably in large organizations or PR agencies
- Track record in effective communication and engagement with a wide range of stakeholders
- Strong experience in content development / editing and event logistics
- Proven ability to write engaging social media and executive content
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both Chinese and English
- Highly organized, proactive, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines
