Responsibilities

• Lead and strengthen the Bank's Transaction Surveillance framework by driving effective monitoring, regulatory compliance, and strategic transformation initiatives
• Ensure robust detection, investigation, and reporting of suspicious activities
• Deliver key surveillance system enhancements, automation, and risk mitigation projects
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance the Bank's overall compliance and risk management capabilities
• Stay abreast of regulatory changes and industry best practices, and implement appropriate measures to maintain compliance
• Provide subject matter expertise and guidance to the wider organization on transaction monitoring and surveillance-related matters

Requirements

• 10 years of relevant experience in transaction monitoring, surveillance, or compliance within the financial services industry
• Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and industry best practices related to anti mule / anti-money laundering (AML), counter-terrorist financing (CTF), and other financial crimes
• Proficient in data analysis, risk assessment, and the use of surveillance and investigation tools
• Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking, and decision-making skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
• Proven track record in driving process improvements and implementing effective compliance solutions
