Assistant Vice President, Treasury and Debt Execution

Your Role

Reporting to the management team of Treasury and Debt Execution and leading a team of treasury officers, your key responsibilities include:

• Manage corporate treasury operations and ensure treasury activities are compliant with group policies and internal controls.
• Assess financial risk, monitor FX and interest rate markets, execute trades and track valuation.
• Steer operations efficiency initiatives and execute implementation.
• Advise and interface with business units and external stakeholders on banking requirements relevant to business operations and special projects.
• Monitor funding requirements and collaborate with financing team to ensure adequate liquidity and optimise working capital.
• Perform financial analysis and prepare management reports.
• Address matters relating to due diligence and risk compliance.

 

To Succeed in this Role

• Undergraduate degree holder in Accounting, Finance, Economics or related disciplines preferred
• A minimum of 8 years’ experience in the corporate treasury field with managerial function
• Sound knowledge in market risk assessment, regulatory regime and hedging documentation
• Hands-on experience with implementing operations efficiency initiatives and AI adoption in operations will be an advantage
• Familiarity with various payment platform and treasury management system
• Good understanding of regulatory and compliance framework relevant to corporate treasury
• Strong communications skills with good command of written and spoken English and Chinese.
