Athletic training coverage will resemble most traditional sports coverage yet adapted to support the specialized needs of the performers in the&nbsp;<em>Christmas Spectacular Starring the Rockettes</em>. It will include work with performers during the pre-season and in-season run of the production. This role is for individuals who are interested in gaining experience in a performing arts athletic training setting.</span></p> <p><span style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt;"><strong>What will you do? </strong></span></p> <ul> <li style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt;"><span style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt;">Assist with the treatment &amp; care of performers' injuries.</span></li> <li style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt;"><span style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt;">Assist with the administrative duties of the department to include, injury data management, workers’ compensation, inputting medical data into EMR system &amp; ordering &amp; organizing seasonal athletic training supplies.</span></li> <li style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt;"><span style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt;">Assist with creation of individualized conditioning &amp; treatment programs for performers.</span></li> <li style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt;"><span style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt;">Participate in interdepartmental meetings &amp; planning for upcoming PR appearances, events, and performances.</span></li> <li style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt;"><span style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt;">Shadow the athletic trainers during coverage for Rockette events.</span></li> </ul> <p><span style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt;"><strong>What do you need to succeed? </strong></span></p> <ul> <li style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt;"><span style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt;">Enrollment in an accredited athletic training program.</span></li> <li style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt;"><span style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt;">NATABOC Certification preferred.</span></li> <li style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt;"><span style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt;">High level of professionalism especially related to confidentiality.</span></li> <li style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt;"><span style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt;">Excellent organization skills &amp; attention to detail.</span></li> <li style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt;"><span style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt;">Ability to multi-task in a high-volume athletic training room environment.</span></li> </ul> <p><span style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt;"><strong>Student Associate Requirements&nbsp;</strong></span></p> <ul> <li style="font-size: 14pt;"><span style="font-size: 14pt;">Must be available to work 21-35 hours/week (3 - 5 business days) in-person.&nbsp;</span></li> <li style="font-size: 14pt;"><span style="font-size: 14pt;">Must be available to work part-time or full-time from October 2026 - January 2027.</span></li> <li style="font-size: 14pt;"><span style="font-size: 14pt;">Must be enrolled as junior, senior, or graduate student for Fall 2026.</span></li> <li style="font-size: 14pt;"><span style="font-size: 14pt;">Must have a GPA of 3.2 or above. <strong>&nbsp;</strong></span></li> <li style="font-size: 14pt;"><span style="font-size: 14pt;">Provide exceptional experiences for our guests, partners, and team members, including by adhering to our appearance and presentation guidelines while on-site. &nbsp;</span></li> </ul> <p><span style="font-size: 14pt;">#LI-Onsite</span></p><div class="content-pay-transparency"><div class="pay-input"><div class="title">Hourly Pay Range</div><div class="pay-range"><span>$22.50</span><span class="divider">&mdash;</span><span>$28.50 USD</span></div></div></div><div class="content-conclusion"><p style="line-height: 1.4;"><span style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt;">At MSG, we recognize the importance of upskilling employees’ talents and strengths so they can drive their careers forward.
