Junior AU Accountant

Job Overview

We are looking for a detail-oriented and motivated Junior AU Accountant to support our accounting and administrative operations. The role will primarily focus on bookkeeping tasks, while also assisting with general administrative duties as needed. Key Responsibilities

• Perform day-to-day bookkeeping and financial data entry
• Assist in maintaining accurate financial records and reports
• Process invoices, receipts, and other accounting documents
• Support bank reconciliations and expense tracking
• Handle document management and filing
• Assist with email correspondence and basic client communication
• Provide administrative support for daily business operations
• Perform other accounting and admin-related tasks assigned by management

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy, Accounting Technology, Finance, or related field
• At least 1 year of accounting or bookkeeping experience is preferred
• Knowledge of basic accounting principles and bookkeeping processes
• Experience with Australian accounting practices is an advantage
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Good written and verbal English communication skills
• Ability to multitask and work independently in a remote setup
• Experience supporting Australian clients or businesses
• Familiarity with Xero, MYOB, or QuickBooks
• Background in administrative support or office coordination
