About the role

Are you interested in **international recruitment, cultural exchange, and working with people from around the world**?

Masons Au Pair is looking for a motivated intern to join our team in Chengdu, China and help us connect international au pairs with Chinese host families.

Since 2016, Masons Au Pair has welcomed **over 200 au pairs from Europe and around the world**, helping them experience life in China while supporting Chinese families in creating an international environment for their children.

This internship is ideal for students interested in **Human Resources, International Education, Cultural Exchange, Psychology, or International Relations**.

You will gain practical experience in **international recruitment, interviewing candidates, and managing cross-cultural programs**.

Tasks

**Recruit International Au Pairs**

  • Identify and contact potential au pair candidates
  • Introducing to the program and following up on requests

**Conduct Interviews**

  • Participate in online interviews with potential au pair candidates.
  • Evaluate and support the selection process

**Manage Candidate Database**

  • Maintain and update the au pair candidate database.

**Support New Au Pairs**

  • Help prepare au pairs before their arrival in China.
  • Assist with orientation sessions for new au pairs.
  • Help them understand the program and adapt to life in China.

**Follow Up With Au Pairs**

  • Support the team and Aupairs in maintaining a positive program experience.

**Help Organize Community Activities**

  • Support monthly activities for au pairs.

Requirements

  • Fluent English (minimum C1 level)
  • Interested in Human Resources, Education, Psychology, Sociology, or International Relations
  • Comfortable communicating with people from different cultures
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Responsible, proactive, and open-minded
  • Interest in cultural exchange programs
  • Be able to come to china for 3–6 months

**Preferred (but not required)**

  • Experience working with children (tutoring, babysitting, volunteering)
  • Experience in recruitment or interviews
  • Experience in international exchange programs or living abroad
  • Knowledge of additional languages (Spanish, French, German, etc.)
