In this role, you will evaluate, diagnose, and manage hearing and balance disorders for patients in skilled nursing and long-term care facilities. This position offers the opportunity to deliver patient-centered audiologic care while improving communication, safety, and overall quality of life for a geriatric population.</p> <p><strong>Responsibilities</strong></p> <ul> <li>Conduct comprehensive hearing evaluations, including pure-tone audiometry, speech audiometry, and tympanometry</li> <li>Diagnose hearing loss and balance-related conditions and develop appropriate treatment plans</li> <li>Fit, program, and maintain hearing aids and other assistive listening devices</li> <li>Provide counseling and education to patients, families, and caregivers regarding hearing health and device use</li> <li>Document evaluations, treatment plans, and outcomes accurately and in a timely manner</li> <li>Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, nursing staff, and care teams</li> <li>Ensure compliance with clinical, safety, and infection control standards</li> <li>Travel to skilled nursing and long-term care facilities as assigned<br><br></li> </ul> <p><strong>Requirements</strong></p> <ul> <li>Doctoral degree in Audiology (Au.D.) required</li> <li>Current state Audiology license required</li> <li>Certificate of Clinical Competence in Audiology (CCC-A) preferred</li> <li>Prior experience in skilled nursing or long-term care settings strongly preferred</li> <li>Experience working with hearing aids and assistive listening devices</li> <li>Strong clinical, organizational, and documentation skills</li> <li>Excellent communication and patient-care abilities</li> <li>Comfortable working with the geriatric population</li> <li>Ability to travel as needed</li> </ul> <p><strong>Benefits</strong></p> <ul> <li>Competitive compensation per annum: $30,000 - $60,000</li> <li>Paid Time Off</li> <li>Malpractice Insurance<br><br></li> </ul> <p><strong>Why Work With Us?</strong></p> <ul> <li>Make a meaningful impact on the lives of seniors</li> <li>Work in a collaborative, mission-driven environment</li> <li>Enjoy work-life balance</li> </ul> <p><strong>Equal Opportunity Employer</strong><strong><br></strong> Infinite Medical P.C is an equal-opportunity employer.
