<p>Withum is seeking <strong>accounting majors graduating in the upcoming academic year</strong> to join our <strong>Audit team</strong> as part of the <strong>November 2026 class</strong>. This is an exciting opportunity to work alongside experienced audit professionals and gain hands-on experience in <strong>financial statement audits, internal control evaluations, and client engagements</strong> across a broad range of industries.</p>
<h3>What You’ll Do:</h3>
<p>As part of a team supervised by a Manager or Partner, you may:</p>
<ul>
<li>Analyze and review client accounting records and financial statements</li>
<li>Evaluate internal control systems, audit risk, materiality, and compliance with GAAS through inquiry, observation, and review</li>
<li>Prepare detailed workpapers to support audit procedures</li>
<li>Perform substantive testing and analytical procedures on financial data</li>
<li>Contribute to larger audit engagements and take ownership of smaller ones as your skills grow</li>
<li>Communicate with clients to gather information and clarify audit issues</li>
<li>Use audit software and data analytics tools to enhance audit quality and efficiency</li>
<li>Take on miscellaneous tasks as assigned</li>
</ul>

<h3>What We’re Looking For:</h3>
<ul>
<li>Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting </li>
<li>GPA of <strong>3.0 or higher</strong></li>
<li>Strong communication and interpersonal skills</li>
<li>Preferred: 150 credit hours and prior internship experience with a public accounting firm</li>
<li>Detail-oriented with strong critical thinking skills</li>
<li>Team-oriented with a desire to learn and grow</li>
<li>Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with audit software is a plus</li>
<li>Ability to work in one of our office locations</li>

<h3>Compensation & Benefits:</h3>
<p>For positions in <strong>California, New York City, and Washington</strong>, the salary range is <strong>$78,000–$85,000</strong>, based on role, location, and individual qualifications.
