<p><strong><u>Authorizations Specialist (ABA Services)</u></strong></p>
<p><strong><u>Location</u>:</strong> Brooklyn, NY | Full-Time | On-site<br><strong><u>Competitive Pay</u>:</strong> $28–$35/hour</p>
<p> Join a growing, mission-driven team at Licensed Behavior Analyst Professional Services PLLC and play a key role in helping children access the services they need. We’re looking for a detail-oriented, proactive Authorizations Specialist who can take ownership of the insurance authorization process and keep everything running smoothly behind the scenes.</p>
<p>This is a fast-paced, high-impact role where your work directly supports timely care for families.</p>
<p><strong><u>What You’ll Do</u>:</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Manage ABA service authorizations from submission through approval</li>
<li>Communicate with insurance companies and payers to obtain and maintain approvals</li>
<li>Keep families informed on authorization status and next steps</li>
<li>Maintain accurate, organized records and documentation</li>
<li>Partner with clinical and admin teams to ensure compliance and efficiency</li>
</ul>
<p><strong><u>What You Bring</u>:</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Experience with insurance authorizations or healthcare administration (preferred)</li>
<li>Bachelor’s degree in a related field (preferred)</li>
<li>BCBA certification or in progress is a plus (not required)</li>
<li>Strong communication skills and professionalism with families and payers</li>
<li>Highly organized with strong attention to detail</li>
<li>Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment</li>
