About the role
The Impact you’ll make
- Answer all incoming internet leads and sales calls within a 5-minute response window.
- Quickly qualify customer intent, timeline, trade details, and vehicle interest.
- Route or escalate leads appropriately while maintaining ownership of appointment outcomes.
- Use confident product knowledge to explain trim levels, features, packages, and technology (e.g., AWD vs 4WD, Apple CarPlay, safety features).
- Build excitement and credibility with customers by explaining product benefits and differences.
- Educate customers on the value of an in-person visit versus price-only conversations.
- Follow the proven process to convert online inquiries into confirmed, in-person appointments.
- Schedule and confirm appointments via phone, text, and email; re-confirm ahead of the appointment.
- Drive metrics for both appointments set and appointments shown through persistent follow-up.
- Confidently handle common objections (e.g., “What’s your best price?”, “Can you give me a trade value?”) and pivot conversations back to booking a visit.
- Use persuasion and consultative techniques to secure commitments without being a script reader.
- Escalate price/FSBO/complex objections to management when appropriate while maintaining appointment momentum.
- Log all interactions, notes, and appointment details accurately and in real time in the CRM.
- Track follow-ups and next steps to ensure no lead falls through the cracks.
- Meet daily/weekly/monthly quotas and provide timely updates to the BDC Manager.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- Proven experience and measurable success in automotive BDC or automotive sales, or a high-volume remote sales role.
- Fluent English (spoken and written) with clear, professional telephone communication.
- Demonstrated ability to set and confirm high volumes of appointments and meet performance quotas.
- Reliable, high-speed internet and a quiet, professional, distraction-free home office setup.
- Strong familiarity with CRM usage for logging leads, notes, and appointment tracking.
- WFH Set-Up:
- Computer with at least 8GB RAM, an Intel i5 core processor/AMD Ryzen 5 Processor and up.
- Internet speed of at least 40MBPS
- Headset with an extended mic that has noise cancellation and a webcam
- Back-up computer and internet connection
- Quiet, dedicated workspace at home
- Technical/hard skills: expert phone, SMS and email sales communication; automotive knowledge (brands, models, trims, tech); CRM proficiency; fast lead response discipline.
- Soft skills/personality traits: high energy, persuasive, resilient, coachable, competitive, excellent objection-handling, strong time-management and follow-up discipline.
- You’re driven by performance-based results and enjoy a high-volume sales environment.
- You’re coachable, competitive, and thrive on hitting daily/weekly quotas.
- You’re disciplined working remotely, self-motivated, and committed to fast response and relentless follow-up.
- You prioritize customer experience, can build trust quickly, and prefer consultative selling over script-reading.

- 9:00 am –6:00 pm Eastern Time. Rotational Rest Day
- $7 per hour
