AVP, Capital Markets

About the Role

This role offers the opportunity to further advance the Capital Markets team’s efforts to support efficient primary and secondary market liquidity across the Global X ETF platform. The AVP will oversee critical day-to-day operations, including ETF creation and redemption workflows, custom basket rebalancing, and ongoing market quality surveillance.

The role is responsible for developing insights and delivering responses related to fund performance, structure, trading activity, and asset growth opportunities. In addition, the AVP will manage internal reporting and daily trading documentation across the Global X ETF lineup, supporting both internal stakeholders and external partners.

The position also entails monitoring regulatory filings, market developments, and competitive dynamics, and producing both recurring and ad hoc analysis to inform decision-making across the Capital Markets team.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and strengthen strategic Capital Markets relationships: Market Makers, Authorized Participants, ETF Sales & Trading Desks, Data Providers

• Respond to inquiries from Sales and Research teams regarding fund performance, trading metrics, and asset-gathering opportunities

• Oversee and maintain internal reporting and documentation related to daily trading activity across all Global X ETFs

• Monitor and analyze regulatory filings, third-party research, market news, and competitive trends relevant to the firm’s ETF offerings

• Contribute to and embody Global X’s entrepreneurial, client-focused culture

Skills & Experience

• Bachelor's degree

• SIE Exam, Series 7 and 63 licenses required

• 3 to 5 years of relevant ETF industry experience

• Extensive experience working in Bloomberg

• A thorough understanding of trading, pricing, and market maker support

• Adept at synthesizing and concisely communicating ideas to various audiences

• Enthusiasm and ability to work independently; attention to detail, communication and teamwork skills, ability to be organized and manage multiple disparate tasks
