- Maintain books of Accounts including postings, managing daily controls includes Bank reconciliation etc.
- Preparation of Financial Statements [JGAAP, Local GAAP and IFRS] and manage/ guide on accounting for existing/ proposed treasury products
- Manage audits/ external reviews like statutory audit, review by regulators etc
- Preparation and submission of Head office related reports.
- Assist with all direct and indirect tax compliances
- Liaise with advisors / external consultants and internal stakeholders
Knowledge – Strong accounting knowledge and experience including IFRS, working knowledge of taxation
Skills – Strong Communication and analytical skills, excellent negotiation skills, project management and decision-making abilities Strong Interpersonal skills as dependency outside team for data. MS- excel proficiency
Experience – 7+ years of experience, preferably in Banking/ Financial services, Foreign/India Banks, understanding of Bank Financial statements and products, experience of team handling and working in a cross-cultural environment, exposure to Direct taxation and international Transfer pricing.
Qualifications - CA and/or higher equivalent qualification in Accounting / Taxation,
