AVP/Senior Associate, Specialist, Finance Data Analyst

Business Function

Group Finance aims to deliver world-class standards in reporting, financial planning and finance processes. We provide insights and analyses that help the bank make sound business decisions – whether in the areas of product development or customer profitability. We also provide capital management, business planning, forecasting, and tax and accounting advisory services.

 

Key Responsibilities

• Support the Finance department with various data projects, ensuring accurate and timely delivery of insights.
• Lead process automation and streamlining initiatives to enhance the teams’ productivity and efficiency.
• Drive the data‑driven journey and enhance the digital capability for the Finance function, including data pipeline design, digital toolset development, and AI / Gen AI application development.
• Apply Python for developing and deploying Gen‑AI solutions, ensuring efficient data processing and impactful outcome.
• Collaborate with team members in a fast‑paced environment to deliver high‑quality results.
• Demonstrate a positive attitude towards learning and adapting to new technologies and methodologies.

 

Key Requirements

• Degree holder in Information Systems, Statistics, Data Science, or related disciplines.
• At least 3 years of experience in a data analyst role.
• Proficiency in both SQL and Python; experience in data transformation is essential.
• Proficiency in Tableau and Qlik Sense is advantageous.
• Strong analytical and innovative mindset with the ability to interpret complex datasets.
• Experience in dashboard creation and Gen‑AI tools is advantageous.
• Open to candidates without a finance/banking background, prior professional experience or an academic background in the financial industry is highly welcomed.
• A strong willingness to learn about the finance industry is essential.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team.
