As a Fixed Income product specialist, you will be responsible to provide quality investment solutions on Fixed Income Products, including cash bond and interest rate/ credit linked derivatives, to high net worth clients of Private Banking and Treasures Private Client segment.

 

Responsibilities

Business Management

• Provide professional advisory, through PB and TPC marketing teams, to high net worth clients.
• Increase Bank’s activity, market share and profitability.
• Provide updates on Fixed Income market and product solutions (bonds, rates / credit derivatives and structured products) to marketing teams in regular investment meetings.

Product Management

• Enhance Fixed Income services by coordinating with external and internal product providers to offer various products.
• Work with relevant parties e.g. Legal, Compliance, risk control team to ensure work flows and documentations fulfilled regulatory requirements as well as bank policies.

Trade Execution

• To perform regulated activities, type 1 & 4 or 1, 4, 9 (as required) specified under the Securities and Futures Ordinance (SFO).

Execute / allocate trade orders on best client interest.

 

Requirements

• University degree, with preferred professional qualification in the Finance or Investment fields.
• At least 6-8 years in related field will be considered for VP. Related experience should be in Fixed Income Industry or a similar position in an established Financial Institution
• Good understanding of Fixed Income industry, i.e. regulatory, business need etc.
• Able to provide investment solutions on Fixed Income products.
• Must be registered RI (Regulated Activities; Types 1 & 4)
• Fluency in English, Mandarin and Cantonese is essential
• Strong interpersonal, communication and leadership skills, as well as the ability to build and foster strong client relationships
• A positive, outgoing, highly motivated and detail-oriented individual who is a fast learner and works well under duress
