<p><strong>About the role:</strong></p>
<p>We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated Senior AWS Cloud Engineer to join our team. You will play a critical role in designing, building, and delivering enterprise-grade network solutions that form the backbone of our global infrastructure. As one of "The Builders," you will be responsible for hands-on implementation and deployment of our network infrastructure across multiple regions.</p>
<p><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Deliver the entire global network backbone infrastructure across IAD, PDX, and DUB regions as defined in the project plan.</li>
<li>Build centralized egress architectures using AWS Network Firewall to ensure secure, scalable, and cost-effective traffic management across all regions.</li>
<li>Build and maintain AWS Cloud WAN infrastructure to provide seamless connectivity and routing across our global network footprint.</li>
<li>Develop and maintain infrastructure as code using Terraform to ensure consistent, repeatable, and version-controlled network deployments.</li>
<li>Collaborate with security architects, cloud engineers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into robust network architectures and technical specifications.</li>
<li>Drive the implementation of network automation and self-service capabilities to enable parallel development and incremental delivery of network services.</li>
<li>Lead by example through hands-on technical work while mentoring other network engineers, providing technical guidance and knowledge transfer.</li>
<li>Ensure the reliability, performance, and security of network infrastructure through comprehensive testing, monitoring, and continuous improvement.</li>
<li>Drive the adoption of best practices in network engineering, including infrastructure as code or automation-first approaches.</li>
<li>Troubleshoot and resolve complex network issues across multi-region environments in a timely manner.</li>
<li>Stay up-to-date with the latest AWS networking services, industry trends, and technologies to ensure our infrastructure remains competitive and efficient.</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Required Skills and Experience:</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>5+ years of experience in network engineering, with a focus on enterprise cloud networking solutions.</li>
<li>Deep, hands-on expertise in AWS Cloud WAN, including configuration, routing policies, and multi-region connectivity.</li>
<li>Strong proficiency in Terraform for infrastructure as code, with proven experience managing complex network deployments.</li>
<li>Extensive experience designing and implementing centralized egress architectures using AWS Network Firewall, including policy management and traffic inspection.</li>
<li>Proven track record of delivering large-scale network infrastructure projects in a fast-paced environment.</li>
<li>Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically and creatively about complex network challenges.</li>
<li>Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a cross-functional, team-oriented environment.</li>
<li>Experience with agile methodologies and DevOps practices applied to network infrastructure.</li>
<li>Proven ability to use a data-driven approach to network optimization, capacity planning, and decision-making.</li>
<li>Ability to communicate fluently in English.</li>

<p><strong>What We Offer</strong></p>

<li>Salary Range: €70,000 – €80,000 gross per year, depending on experience, skills, and the outcome of the technical assessment process.</li>
