About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and optimize the back-end systems of our e-commerce platform.
• Build scalable and secure APIs to support front-end functionality.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement new features.
• Monitor and improve system performance, scalability, and reliability.
• Troubleshoot and resolve back-end issues in a timely manner.
• Stay current with emerging back-end technologies and best practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent work experience.
• Proficiency in at least one high-level programming language (e.g., PHP, Java, C++, Python, etc.).
• Solid understanding of database management systems (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL).
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Effective communication skills in English (spoken and written).

Bonus Points

• Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent work experience.
• Professional experience with PHP and Magento development.
• Experience working with AWS cloud services.
• Knowledge of system architecture, microservices, and performance optimization techniques.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
