Senior Backend Engineer (Perp DEX)

<p>We are representing a leading force in the decentralized exchange (DEX) space, specifically operating within the high-performance Solana ecosystem.&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p> <ul> <li>Design and develop ultra-low latency, high-throughput backend services and off-chain infrastructure to support real-time trading and order matching.</li> <li>Analyze and refine engine latency and throughput to ensure top-of-block execution for mission-critical trading bots and settlement services.</li> <li>Spearhead the technical design of greenfield projects, utilizing modern best practices to build resilient, distributed systems.</li> <li>Implement robust monitoring, observability, and automation tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana) to ensure 24/7 uptime in a high-stakes environment.</li> <li>Partner closely with quant researchers, smart contract engineers, and product managers to translate complex trading requirements into scalable software solutions.</li> <li>Drive high engineering standards through rigorous code reviews, documentation, and mentoring junior members of the engineering team.</li> </ul> <h3><strong>Requirements</strong></h3> <ul> <li>5+ years of professional experience in backend development, specifically focused on high-performance distributed systems; at least 1-2 years of experience in Smart Contract development.</li> <li>Deep expertise in Rust or Go (or strong experience in Java/C++ with a willingness to master Rust).</li> <li>Proven track record building or maintaining electronic trading systems, order management systems, or exchange infrastructure.</li> <li>Solid understanding of multithreading, memory management, and performance tuning for low-latency environments.</li> <li>Proficient with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), message brokers (Kafka, Redis), and relational databases (PostgreSQL/MySQL).</li> <li>Familiarity with blockchain concepts, though direct Solana experience is a plus, a passion for decentralized finance is essential.</li> <li>Understanding of perpetual futures, margin trading, and complex derivatives products is nice to have.</li> <li>Fluency in English is required.</li> </ul> <p>#LI-REMOTE</p> <p>&nbsp;</p>
