You will play a key role in ensuring that the team consistently delivers measurable business value while maintaining technical excellence.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <h2><strong>A taster of what you will be doing:</strong></h2> <ul> <li>As a Tech Lead you will be part of the Sportsbook B2B &amp; Integrations Value stream, participating in design, POCs and development of complex tasks and also a key person in the team who ensures a high-quality delivery by the developers.</li> <li>Work closely with architects within the area to ensure that the architecture direction set is being communicated, aligned &amp; implemented within the teams.</li> <li>You will also be aligning with the other tech leads across the product development department to ensure the technical consistency, take ownership of and drive technical excellence initiatives within Sportsbook.</li> <li>Identify technical improvements in the applications you are responsible for.</li> <li>Validate technical improvements and help Product Managers prioritise such improvements</li> <li>Be able to explain the benefits of technical improvements to both technical and non-technical audience.</li> <li>You will also participate in development, testing, code reviews, bug fixing, implementing new features as well as maintaining and improving the existing functionality.</li> <li>Help build our world class team, thus participating in technical interviews as well as coaching &amp; mentoring engineers.</li> <li>Stay up to date with technology, understand the benefits and use cases of a variety of technologies and be strategic in their implementation.</li> </ul> <h2><strong>What we are looking for:</strong></h2> <ul> <li>Someone who is passionate about building things, with a strong technical background and an understanding of non-functional requirements.</li> <li>Expertise with designing and implementing distributed microservices</li> <li>Deep understanding of the latest C# and .NET framework/core.</li> <li>Experience deploying scalable back-end solutions using AWS/Azure/GCP.</li> <li>Expertise with distributed systems and high-speed database technologies, including SQL (PostgreSQL) and NoSQL (e.g., MongoDB, Redis).</li> <li>Familiarity with messaging systems, message queues, and event-driven architecture.</li> <li>Knowledge of containerization (e.g., Docker) and orchestration (e.g., Kubernetes).</li> <li>Deep understanding of coding best practices.</li> <li>You are a team player who readily offers help and shares knowledge with your colleagues.</li> <li>You are someone who is pro-active and love to not only to suggest improvements but also drive them.</li> </ul> <h2>Reporting</h2> <p>The employee reports to the Engineering Manager.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <h2>What we offer</h2> <p>&nbsp;</p> <ul> <li>Monthly Allowance for Lunch</li> <li>Private &amp; Life Plan Insurance for you and your family</li> <li>Team Building Budget</li> <li>Annual Wellness Allowance</li> <li>Corporate Travel Insurance</li> <li>Events and initiatives both Local (Quarterly Meetings) and Global</li> <li>Professional Development Programs &amp; Internal Career Opportunities</li> <li>Milestone Birthday</li> </ul> <p>Much like riding a rollercoaster, sometimes life at Betsson can be lightning fast with twists and turns but always FUN!
