 What You’ll Work On 

 

• Work across the stack to build iterative solutions 
• Design scalable and resilient member data import
  pipelines to be able to handle exponential member growth with confidence. 
• Design and build solutions to leverage technology to
  improve accuracy, efficiency, and reduce overhead in labor-intensive
  processes 
• Design data models and workflows to store and use
  complex and highly configurable data. 
• Collaborate with engineers and product managers to make
  sure we're building the right solutions for the right problems. 
• Move fast, rapidly prototype solutions, and work across
  the stack 
• Contribute to our microservices
  architecture that runs our product. 

What We’re Looking For 

· A BS or MS in Computer Science or related
field 

· 5+ years of software engineering work
experience 

· 5+ years of Java development
work experience 

· 1+ years of Javascript development work
experience 

· Experience with DBs - SQL / NoSQL 

· Experience with Heroku or AWS 

· Understanding of modern backend
framework(s) such asSpring Boot, Hibernate and any Search framework 

· Proficient with RESTful web development and
client-server architecture 

· Understanding Docker and Kubernetes 

· Already worked with CI and Git 

· Thoughtful, detailed
communication style through code and design reviews 

• Previous startup experience is a plus 

· Experience working in an agile environment
with multiple partners
