To support this growth and ensure a standardized and stable deployment we have started to develop the&nbsp;<strong>KINEXON Runtime Platform</strong>, a solution responsible for&nbsp;<strong>deploying, running and monitoring</strong>&nbsp;the KINEXON software stack in a&nbsp;<strong>containerized environment</strong>.</p> <p style="text-align: justify;"><strong>YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES</strong></p> <p style="text-align: justify;">&nbsp;</p> <div style="text-align: justify;"> <ul> <li>Drive the ongoing development of the <strong>KINEXON Runtime Platform</strong>, with a strong focus on backend services and platform reliability</li> <li>Design, implement, and maintain&nbsp;<strong>Go-based backend services and REST APIs</strong>, primarily in a microservices architecture</li> <li>Build and maintain&nbsp;<strong>internal tooling and automation</strong> in Go to improve developer workflows and platform operations</li> <li>Actively contribute to the&nbsp;<strong>design, operation, and evolution of our container-native infrastructure</strong> (Kubernetes-based)</li> <li>Collaborate on&nbsp;<strong>CI/CD pipelines</strong> (GitLab), including build infrastructure, runner fleets, and deployment strategies</li> <li>Support and partially own the&nbsp;<strong>Kubernetes platform</strong>: deployments, scaling, debugging, networking, and security concepts</li> <li>Operate and improve our&nbsp;<strong>observability stack</strong> (Prometheus, Grafana, VictoriaMetrics, Sentry): dashboards, alerting, and incident response</li> <li>Work with&nbsp;<strong>Infrastructure as Code</strong> (Terraform, optionally Ansible) to provision and manage cloud resources (AWS or Hetzner)</li> <li>Participate in&nbsp;<strong>architecture discussions</strong>, design reviews, and planning for future backend and platform changes</li> <li>Review code changes, ensure high code quality, and mentor other engineers where appropriate</li> <li>Document architectural decisions and present new features or infrastructure improvements to internal stakeholders</li> </ul> </div> <p style="text-align: justify;"><strong>YOUR PROFILE</strong></p> <p style="text-align: justify;">&nbsp;</p> <div> <ul> <li style="text-align: justify;">5+ years of professional experience as a <strong>Backend, Platform, or DevOps Engineer</strong></li> <li style="text-align: justify;"><strong>Strong backend engineering background </strong>with <strong>Go/Golang</strong>, including distributed systems</li> <li style="text-align: justify;">Solid hands-on experience with&nbsp;<strong>Kubernetes in production</strong> (deploying, debugging, operating containerized workloads)</li> <li style="text-align: justify;">Good understanding of&nbsp;<strong>container-native ecosystems</strong> (Docker, Kubernetes, CNCF projects, OCI artifacts, SBOMs)</li> <li style="text-align: justify;">Experience with&nbsp;<strong>CI/CD pipelines and build infrastructure</strong>, ideally GitLab</li> <li style="text-align: justify;">Practical knowledge of&nbsp;<strong>Infrastructure as Code</strong>, especially Terraform (state, modules, environments)</li> <li style="text-align: justify;">Experience operating or debugging&nbsp;<strong>cloud infrastructure</strong> (AWS preferred, Hetzner acceptable)</li> <li style="text-align: justify;">Familiarity with&nbsp;<strong>observability tools</strong> such as Prometheus, Grafana, VictoriaMetrics, Sentry, or similar</li> <li style="text-align: justify;">Comfortable working in&nbsp;<strong>Linux environments</strong> and debugging issues across application, container, and network layers</li> <li style="text-align: justify;">Interest or experience in&nbsp;<strong>AI / LLM tooling</strong> (e.g. AI-assisted coding, internal tooling, or API integration) is a plus</li> <li style="text-align: justify;">Hands-on mentality, strong sense of ownership, and clear communication skills</li> <li style="text-align: justify;">Fluent in English;
