<p><span data-contrast="auto">Coupang relies on technology to provide on-time, fast delivery of products to customers every day. <span data-olk-copy-source="MailCompose">Fulfillment Technology focuses on managing highly scalable systems for Coupang that includes Inventory and Warehouse Management systems</span>. Building highly available and scalable systems to handle billions of order & delivery transactions and support Coupang’s rapidly growing Product Commerce business is a complex architectural challenge. We are responsible for delivering products to millions of online shopping customers by improving order reconciliation with technology. To deliver on this challenge, we are looking for an experienced and passionate engineer who can design and build large-scale, multi-tiered, distributed services.</span><span data-ccp-props="{}"> </span></p>

<ul>
<li><span data-contrast="auto">Demonstrate excellence resulting in scalable systems and services with the highest quality architecture and design.</span><span data-ccp-props="{}"> </span></li>
<li><span data-contrast="auto">Responsible for designing, building, deploying and maintaining the core Workflow Platform Infrastructure. (e.g., Workflow Platforms - Temporal, Netflix Conductor etc.)</span><span data-ccp-props="{}"> </span></li>
<li><span data-contrast="auto">Responsible for benchmarking the Platform, collecting metrics & publishing results.</span><span data-ccp-props="{}"> </span></li>
<li><span data-contrast="auto">Responsible for measuring & ensuring reliability and uptime of the Platform with 99.995% guarantees.</span><span data-ccp-props="{}"> </span></li>
<li><span data-contrast="auto">Responsible for capacity estimation & provisioning of cluster for different customer workloads.</span><span data-ccp-props="{}"> </span></li>
<li><span data-contrast="auto">Responsible for production incident Monitoring & Alerting for the Platform.</span><span data-ccp-props="{}"> </span></li>
<li><span data-contrast="auto">Detail oriented and hands on engineer who can analyze OSS Platform components and code.</span><span data-ccp-props="{}"> </span></li>
<li><span data-contrast="auto">Dive deep into critical system issues, proactively addressing similar root causes, and raise the bar on Operational Excellence.</span><span data-ccp-props="{}"> </span></li>
<li><span data-contrast="auto">Exposure to one of the SQL or NoSQL database systems. (Cassandra, MySQL etc.)</span><span data-ccp-props="{}"> </span></li>
<li><span data-contrast="auto">Collaborate with other teams to make the platform open and extensible to unlock innumerable opportunities for innovations.</span><span data-ccp-props="{}"> </span></li>
</ul>
<p><strong><span data-contrast="auto">Qualifications</span><span data-ccp-props="{}"> </span></strong></p>
<ul>
<li><span data-contrast="auto">10+ years of experience working directly within engineering teams in a fast-moving environment.</span><span data-ccp-props="{}"> </span></li>
<li><span data-contrast="auto">10+ years of experience in developing and operating backend services and web applications.</span><span data-ccp-props="{}"> </span></li>
<li><span data-contrast="auto">Experience building complex, high-performance, and highly available distributed software systems that have been successfully delivered to customers.</span><span data-ccp-props="{}"> </span></li>
<li><span data-contrast="auto">Strong familiarity developing with Java and Spring Framework as well as experience in an AWS environment.</span><span data-ccp-props="{}"> </span></li>
<li><span data-contrast="auto">Extensive experience in managing mission critical services with high throughput and low latency.</span><span data-ccp-props="{}"> </span></li>
</ul>

<li><span data-contrast="auto">Solid engineering skills as a lead engineer to coach and lead high performing software engineers and keep them motivated.</span><span data-ccp-props="{}"> </span></li>
<li><span data-contrast="auto">Excellent communication skills to shepherd communication with end users, technical & business teams to collect requirements, describe product features, and develop technical designs to achieve business goals.</span><span data-ccp-props="{}"> </span></li>
<li><span data-contrast="auto">Knowledge of Agile software engineering practices & patterns for the full software development lifecycle including coding standards, code reviews, build processes, testing, and live site operations.</span><span data-ccp-props="{}"> </span></li>
<li><span data-contrast="auto">Demonstrated leadership in cross-functional, highly collaborative environment.</span><span data-ccp-props="{}"> </span></li>
