Bartender

<p>The bartender will prepare drinks for guests and serve them in a professional, courteous and timely manner, all the while providing outstanding service to our guests along the way. You’ll act as an advocate for the bar/restaurant, be a creator of ridiculously personal experiences, and develop relationships with guests that will compel them to return.</p> <p>ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:</p> <ul> <li>Greet and welcome our guests and promptly serve their drinks and food (if applicable).</li> <li>Pour drinks using standard pour according to specifications.</li> <li>Receive and process orders in the POS system with accuracy.</li> <li>Serve food and drinks to guests, along with filling orders for the servers.</li> <li>Clean and empty trash cans as necessary.</li> <li>Fill and clean ice bins.</li> <li>Change kegs, stock beer and wine coolers.</li> <li>Clean shelving, stainless steel, mixers, cups, blenders and soda guns.</li> <li>Notify a manager if a guest is becoming intoxicated or rude to other guests.</li> <li>Follow uniform and grooming specifications.</li> <li>Cooperative communication with support crew and management.</li> <li>Operate bar equipment.</li> <li>Unpack deliveries and stock bar.</li> <li>Record accurate tip-out sheets.</li> </ul> <p>SPECIFIC EXPERIENCE WE'RE SEEKING:</p> <ul> <li>1 year of bartending experience is required.</li> <li>Passion for crafting and personalizing guest experiences.</li> <li>Excellent wine and spirits knowledge, great communication and presentation skills.</li> <li>Basic math skills, able to calculate the correct bill amount and use proper credit card and cash handling procedures.</li> <li>Able to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.</li> <li>Able to learn, retain, and present product, menu, and allergy information to guests.</li> <li>Knowledge of or ability to learn the restaurant point of sale system.</li> <li>Restaurant inventory and invoicing software proficiency may be required.</li> <li>Food Handler and Alcohol Awareness certifications (if applicable).</li> <li>Flexible schedule and are able to work weekends, nights, and holidays when needed.</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><em>The hourly pay range for this role is $7.00 to 9.00 USD plus gratuities. &nbsp;We offer a comprehensive package of benefits including paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance, pension, meal per shift, and many other benefits to eligible employees.</em></p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><em>The hourly pay range for this role is $6 to $7 USD plus gratuities. &nbsp;We offer a comprehensive package of benefits including paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance, pension, meal per shift, and many other benefits to eligible employees.</em></p> <p>&nbsp;</p>
