<p><strong>Job Summary for job located in Lake Sumter Landing</strong></p> <p>The Bartender contributes to the success of TooJay’s by serving the Guests within the restaurant. The Bartender’s responsibility is to serve Guests in a friendly, sincere manner and to do “whatever it takes” to ensure a vital, vibrant, and powerfully flavored Guest dining experience. The Bartender is also responsible to provide friendly, efficient service to the Servers and other team members serving our Guests.</p> <p><strong>Knowledge and Skills</strong></p> <ul> <li><strong>Experienced Bartender, must be 21 years of age to apply, with two plus years working in a fast paced full-service bar having served a full variety of alcohol and cocktails, and ideally has served food off of a full-service dining menu </strong></li> <li><strong>Exceptional Customer Service Personality </strong></li> <li><strong>Verify identification and age of customers </strong></li> <li><strong>Flexible and long hours required at times </strong></li> <li><strong>Ability to stand during entire shift, exerting up to 40 pounds as needed </strong></li> <li><strong>Must be able to maneuver throughout the dining and kitchen area throughout the shift </strong></li> <li><strong>Ability to reach overhead, carry trays, handle hot and cold beverages, bend below the waist and communicate intentions </strong></li> <li><strong>Approach all encounters with Guests in a friendly, socially distanced, and service-oriented manner </strong></li> <li><strong>Continuously clean high touch points throughout the restaurant, and when using restrooms </strong></li> <li><strong>Maintain regular schedule in compliance with TooJay’s business levels which may vary based on the needs of the restaurant and check list protocols per Covid-19 standards of cleanliness </strong></li> <li><strong>Maintain high standards of personal grooming, including wearing proper uniform and facial mask and gloves when/where if required and as regulated</strong></li> </ul>
