We provide full training for those just starting their careers in the ABA (Applied Behavior Analysis) field and room for growth for more experienced candidates.</p> <p>Here's what we offer:</p> <ul> <li>Competitive Pay:&nbsp;$20 (If RBT certified, then $22-25 based on experience in ABA)</li> <li>A Rewarding Career:&nbsp;Helping kids achieve their goals!</li> <li>Additional Income:&nbsp;Bonuses, raises, and incentives.</li> <li>Training: Ongoing training and support</li> <li>Culture: Innovative, Creative, and Ethical</li> <li>Additional Income:&nbsp;Bonuses, raises, and incentives.</li> <li>Growth:&nbsp;RBT Certification and aspiring BCBA program</li> </ul> <p>Here's what we need from you:</p> <ul> <li>Education: High School Diploma or College Degree</li> <li>Experience: Childcare, healthcare, or mental health preferred (but we will train the right candidate)</li> <li>Dependability: Consistency and reliability is crucial for the child's success</li> <li>Integrity: You will work in the child's home without constant supervision</li> <li>Positivity &amp; Patience:&nbsp;It's all about positive reinforcement and repetition</li> <li>Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication in English</li> </ul> <p>Behavior Therapist Job Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Provide one on one in-home Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA) therapy</li> <li>Collect behavior and skill acquisition data during sessions</li> <li>Conduct Discrete Trials, Natural Environment Teaching, and various teaching/reinforcement methods in line with the Behavior Support Plan.</li> <li>Work collaboratively with a BCBA (Board Certified Behavior Analyst) to implement basic principles and teaching procedures of ABA therapy.</li> </ul> <p>Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:</p> <ul> <li>Strong technology skills for data collection and entry</li> <li>Professional written and oral communication skills</li> <li>Ability to maintain a positive attitude while being an active participant who contributes to team activities, meetings, and training</li> <li>Ability to set and achieve goals that benefit the patient, the team, and the BT/RBT</li> <li>Ability to receive feedback, coaching, and counseling while maintaining a positive attitude and commitment to be a continuous learner</li> <li>Ability to pass a background screen, reference checks, and drug screen</li> </ul> <p>Physical Working Conditions:</p> <ul> <li>Ability to bend, kneel, crouch, and spend time standing as well as an ability to lift items up to 50 lbs</li> <li>Endurance to move quickly from a seated position to a standing position to accommodate the treatment plan and/ or for the safety of the patient</li> <li>Requires eye-hand coordination and manual dexterity enough to operate office equipment, etc.</li> </ul> <p>At Cultivate we celebrate and support diversity.
