We are currently seeking Behavioral Health Technicians to support our clients and staff. The BHT is an integral part of our clients’ well-being and daily operations, providing frontline support throughout their day. We invite you to review the job description and apply if interested!</p> <p><strong>This position requires weekend work.</strong></p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <hr> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Shift Options:</strong></p> <div> <ul> <li> <p><strong>1st Shift:</strong> 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM</p> <ul> <li>Shift Differential: $1.00 (Saturday and Sunday)</li> </ul> </li> <li> <p><strong>2nd Shift:</strong> 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM</p> <ul> <li>Shift Differential: $1.00 (Monday - Friday)</li> <li>Shift Differential: $1.50 (Saturday and Sunday)</li> </ul> </li> <li> <p><strong>3rd Shift:</strong> 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM</p> <ul> <li>Shift Differential: $1.50 (Monday - Friday)</li> <li>Shift Differential: $1.50 (Saturday and Sunday)</li> </ul> </li> </ul> </div> <p>&nbsp;</p> <hr> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Job Responsibilities:</strong></p> <div> <ul> <li>Assist with the intake process for new clients into the program.</li> <li>Communicate with staff verbally or through written logs; maintain detailed client logs.</li> <li>Listen to clients regarding treatment and maintain a safe, orderly, and therapeutic environment, including crisis intervention.</li> <li>Coordinate activities such as lectures, recreation, and meetings.</li> <li>Conduct mandatory bed checks and complete the bed-check sheet for shift reporting.</li> <li>Attend shift changes, team meetings, and company meetings.</li> <li>Ensure adherence to the client schedule daily.</li> <li>Assist with interventions involving clients.</li> <li>Follow the objectives outlined in treatment plans.</li> <li>Monitor the medication line.</li> <li>Transport clients to meetings and recreational activities.</li> <li>Conduct searches of clients upon their return to the facility.</li> <li>Monitor clients' hygiene and medical needs.</li> <li>Uphold therapeutic boundaries and the staff code of ethics.</li> <li>Evaluate clients' behavioral and emotional needs and provide input.</li> <li>Distribute client snacks as needed.</li> <li>Train new staff on unit operations, program, and milieu.</li> <li>Help maintain the upkeep of the facility.</li> <li>Assist clients in obtaining a sponsor.</li> <li>Perform other duties as assigned.</li> </ul> </div> <p>&nbsp;</p> <hr> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Education and Experience:</strong></p> <div> <ul> <li>High school diploma or equivalent.</li> <li>Valid driver’s license.</li> <li>Experience in Drug and Alcohol/Mental Health preferred.</li> </ul> </div> <p>&nbsp;</p> <hr> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Employment Information:</strong> Due to the nature of behavioral healthcare work and our commitment to ensuring client safety, candidates selected for hire must successfully pass a criminal background check, drug screening, and any required state-mandated clearances.
